Rathjen's Landscaping is a full service landscaping company. We provide lawn maintenance, tree and shrub pruning, leaf cleanup, brush clearing and tree removal services. We also install and plant new gardens. After the job was done they also cleaned up the work area BEAUTIFULLY. Not a speck of dirt anywhere.

In the event of manufacturer defect they stand behind their product with a two-year installation warrantee and guarantee our work as Authorized Contractors.
Count on our professional planting services for strong, healthy landscaping and gardens on your property. Tree planting: We have the capability to source and install trees as small as 5-6 feet in height, all the way up to 25+ feet. Screen planting for privacy: Depending on the application, screen shrubbery or trees can be used to create privacy as well as reduce road noise.
Whether you have a hole to mend from construction or excavation, or an entire lawn to start from scratch, we offer all sizes of lawn installations. We can put in lawns using seed, or from sod for a faster start. We also have significant experience with steep slopes, employing erosion-control products that let seeds germinate while preventing soil from washing away.
If you've ever had to leave for work at 7:30 and found your driveway was still a solid wall of snow and ice, you know the importance of reliable snow removal. We offer residential snow plowing as well as salting, sanding, and snow relocation services. We stock our own sand and salt so we are able to offer emergency after-hours service even when other contractors are waiting for a supplier to open.

Ben and his crew were extremely friendly. They showed up on time and until the job was done (i.e. they did not go to other jobs while this one was underway.). And when there were a couple of additional items that I wanted to add that were out of the original scope of work, his prices for those items were more than fair. He left the job site very clean at the end of every day, too. A couple before and after photos.

Ben and his crew are such a pleasure to work with! In an unfortunate time when you must beg contactors to even return a call, Rathjen's Landscaping is exactly the opposite. Ben is professional and responsive; he returned every call, email and text. He made himself available to answer questions and make changes throughout the project. He gave us valuable suggestions and realistic expectations. Ben kept evey commitment he made and approached every obstacle with a positive attitude and a solution in mind. Although the weather did not cooperate and extended the project slightly longer than he wanted

We contacted Ben to help us replace a backyard patio and to do hardscaping and landscaping around a pool. Ben was very easy to work with - responsive to all my questions/concerns. He came up with a plan that met our family’s desires as well as our budget. The project was also done within the time frame Ben originally stated. He just finished the work and we couldn’t be happier! The yard is beautiful as well as functional. Would definitely recommend Rathjen’s landscaping!!
