Model MP-V450: The bench top peristaltic pump has a universal power supply that accepts either 120 or 240 VAC single phase connection. Detachable cord set for 120 VAC connection: 2.5 meters long, C-13 connector plugs to the pump. Optional Remote Jack and Cord for $100 extra. Additional $40 over the $100 to have RolaTec connect a foot switch (spring return, normally open circuit) to the cord.
Changing from one tubing formulation to another takes only seconds and no tools are required. Simply open the hood and place the new tube inside. The pump can be set on its side for these tube changes. Tubing life is greatly extended by applying synthetic grease along inside corner of the hood as shown in the diagram on the left.
This chemical dispensing pump operates by peristaltic means. Fluid travels through just the interior of the tubing without wetting other pump components. The Chemical Compatibility Chart depicts how a chemical fluid type effects various tubing formulations. Uses for the peristaltic pump include chemical dispensing, sampling and the transfer of sterile or toxic fluids.
