Wonderful experience. Great local business. We had a problem with our front door mortise lock. Dave came with a mask although he has been vaccinated and asked if we wanted him to use it. We did. No problem. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and figured out how to fix it easily without having to rebuild it. Was very pleased that he cleaned up after himself without being asked. Highly recommend him to anyone with a lock repair issue. As for paying by credit card, lots of businesses now ask customers to pay the credit card processing fee charged to them by the credit card company. We

Excellent & reliable service. My family and I have used them for years. They did a beautiful job installing a new deadbolt lock to my apartment door. We also went to them to get copies of smaller-sized mailbox and garage door keys we needed, because the key-making machines at Home Depot just couldn't copy them correctly. I also just called them last night for a neighbor who was locked out and they showed up within 45 minutes and were very helpful getting her safely back into her house. I spoke to Mitch and he was extremely professional and understanding. Thank you so much!

We had an emergency with our Thule snowboarding racks and had lost the key a day before a big trip we were taking. In a panic, we called Syosset locksmith and they asked us to send them a picture of our Thule rack to see if they could make a key. They said they'd get back right away, but then didn't. I called an hour or so later to check in and a guy that worked there said, "Yeah I saw your email. We can't do it". To my response I said, "And you didn't think to let me know?". Terrible service. Had someone come to my house to evaluate a bad lock. Requested first appointment of the day so I could make it to work on time. The gentleman who arrived was almost half an hour early which was great! He evaluated the bad lock, discussed options with me, changed the lock, demonstrated how to lock it, and even oiled another one of my locks which had been sticking. Excellent service. I would definitely recommend and use again myself.

I have been using Syosset Lock Shop for many years (I have been in the area over 2 decades) and they have always been my go to lock shop whether getting new keys made, fixing & installing door looks, etc...Always there to assist and do a great job. I just had work done at my house (a jammed lock, putting a door knob back on & installing a new doorknob with lock & dead bolt)- Greg did a fantastic job!! I came here to get a replacement key for my Honda Civic as the plastic case was cracked. They were able to replace the casing to something much more durable, and to also cut me a spare non-remote key that will start my car and open the doors that I can use as a spare. Everyone in the shop, Steve and Greg, were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'm impressed with the service and the savings. Thanks, cannot recommend enough.
