Rainbow septic was fantastic to work with. Tom completed my septic inspection and reinspection in a very timely manner, provided great feedback and ensure we stayed within code. Huge kudos to Tom's effort. Without his diligent work, we would have not closed our house in time.

I was needing a septic inspection ASAP since we were in the process of buying a house. Reached out to multiple companies and one other actually recommended Rainbow since they were not available. I called rainbow and the lady over the phone was very helpful and got me scheduled ASAP. They took care on the inspection and the pumping. Tom was extremely helpful and explained in detail his findings. Happy and Satisfied customer!

Cost me a buyer and another inspection.
Said my tank leaked and gray water from my washer was being run into my yard.
Another company came out and found the tank was holding water at the proper level, and the 3/4" PVC pipe shown in the report as my washer drain, was my AC condenser overflow!! My washer goes directly to the main drain.

Rainbow Septic is THE best septic inspection service I've ever used. Nicole has the most wonderful customer service attitude and goes the long mile to get you taken care of. She contacted another septic company for me to get an inspection and pump out arranged between the two company's during a home buying option period. She called after hours to confirm. She followed up the next morning. She might be perfection! The inspection happened on time and immediately I was called and given a short phone report. I can't say enough. I would recommend these guys all day!!

Not impressed with Rainbow septic. I hired them to inspect a septic system. I knew it had been pumped the previous week, so I only requested an inspection. I was quoted $345-500. The inspector arrived, opened the lid and said the system failed. I was shocked to receive a $520 bill. After I questioned the bill, I was told that I was lucky because they could have charged me an additional $225 to pump the system!!!! They didn't even attempt the pump the system. Why do they think they did me a favor for not charging me when they didn't perform a job? The extra $175 was in case they

Could NOT even find my septic tank that is 10 feet from the septic vent tube that sticks out of the ground!! Was convinced that it must set further down than 4 feet when it only sets about 2 feet below the surface. Ended up having to hire another septic service (Larry's, I highly recommend). Jan forgets she works in customer service and not only had snide remarks but was highly unprofessional about having to come out a second time (first time was for over an hour prodding "all over the property" which apparently not since it was right under where she was standing half the time!)

Two years later, I forgot about the documentation.... and decided to do some digging in my yard.... I hit every drainage line possible. Jan dropped what she was doing and provided the help I needed during my "little emergency"

I hired Rainbow to do a complete inspection prior to buying. The tank was failed and it saved me 25K had I not had a complete system check. The report and the pictures were unprecedented. The inspector was knowledgeable with 30 years of experience. Very happy with the complete report. In a option period we have only a short time to get inspection. 24 hours and they were there getting a comprehensive report WELL DONE.

Tom and his team are very thorough and professional. I met them when they did the inspection on a property I was selling over a year ago. They made such a good impression that when I purchased a new property I hired them. I am so impressed with Rainbow Septic. I was calling around today to get some info on pricing out a new septic system since we were looking into renting out some RV spots or building a cabin to rent out. The receptionist was extremely friendly and told me that Jan would have to call me back. Jan called me back very quickly and answered all my questions and actually made some really good suggestions. She was able to pull up my septic plans and was able to tell me exactly what I needed. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and I really felt like she cared about me. I've always had good service by Rainbow w/ Septic tank pumping and reasonable (comparing to others) pricing. HOWEVER, I'm not sure why they keep recommending Charlie Threet, Texas Septic Services for maintenance. He's a SCAM artist, very poor at maintenance, doesn't show up half the time and then when he does show up he doesn't do all the steps required by the county, but mostly just "looks in the tank" w/o doing the maintenance! I'm not alone in my poor opinion of Texas Septic Services... A quick google will show that many MANY other customers have had

I had a good experience with Rainbow Septic. I needed a waste pump pit cleaned out in order to repair the pump. Nichole was very accommodating over the phone and got me on the schedule with a days notice. Pump truck showed up, the driver was very nice and helpful, job went great. My wife is a Realtor and uses Jan all the time for septic Inspections. She loves her. Not sure what happened with the bad reviews.

I just read the other 2 reviews which surprised me because I had a COMPLETELY different experience. I called Rainbow Septic after another company told me I was going to need more than just a tank pump, and then no showed the day they were supposed to repair whatever was broken.
I had been without water for days and was extremely frustrated when this other company no-showed and reached out to Rainbow Septic late that night. A lady named Nicole called me back quickly and was extremely courteous and helpful. I explained what had happened and my nervousness that they were going to do the same thing

I had a septic inspection and pre-inspection done. She was on-time, thorough, and super friendly, it doesn't get better than that! She took the time to educate me and give me some great tips for the future. We are in the process of purchasing this home and this system will need some repairs, Jan went to the neighbor's house with me and gathered info great info on if we ever wanted to tap into the city's line as well.
