Over the years, Mum's Place expanded to a 10,000-square-foot showroom at 246 Forest Avenue in Pacific Grove.

I have had nothing but the best experience shopping at Mum's. I always walk out of there wanting to buy everything. They truly have fantastic pieces/style. I've worked with Tina and Marilyn who have both gone out of their way to accommodate me and provide the most amazing customer service, hands down. I was on the fence about an item, as I wasn't sure how it would fit/look in my space, and they offered to deliver it with the rest of my order, just so I could have the opportunity to see it in person/make a decision. Couldn't be happier!

I've been meaning to write a review for a while now, so here it goes. We bought a new couch and love seat here and were so impressed with the level of service... they have our business forever! The owner is great. He took his time to listen to what we were looking for. And didn't push the sale... instead he answered all the questions we had. I have to say, it was a absolutely the best experience I've ever had with any business in this area. And as far as furniture stores, nothing compares! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good quality, service, and modern style furniture.

Awesome customer service above and beyond 3-year warranty.
We love our Flexsteel, motorized, loveseat bought at Mum's. Darn thing stopped working and Mum's ordered the parts and got them to us FREE...out of warranty.
I apologize to Mum's for being cranky and am humbled by their kindness, service in spite of my less than confident attitude.
Excellent service, even to customers who whine.
Bravo.

Great store. The employees are great at matching and design. I couldn't have picked out more beautiful furniture myself. Amazing staff and amazing quality furniture. They sell top quality, name brand pieces and I get the benefit of supporting a local business by shopping there. Order times are always quick and their delivery guys are great and take extra care when delivering furniture.

A friend recommended Mum's Place after moving into a new apartment and I couldn't have asked for a better shopping experience. I really didn't know exactly what style I was going for, but with the help of the staff, I was able to find everything I needed in one trip. The floor was organized making it easy to navigate and imagine how it would look in my new home. I never knew furniture shopping could be so fun! Prices were great and setting up delivery was easy. I will for sure be back next time I am in need of new furniture.

I recently purchased a couch through Mum's Place and received fantastic service. Mum's Place knew exactly what I wanted and my price range, showing me an assortment of options that would fit and match my living room. After purchase, Mum's staff was able to answer all of my questions regarding delivery and shipment as well. I was always notified of the timeline of the shipment when I called in for an update. They also promptly delivered the couch and installed it in my living room, I could not have asked for better service!

We had looked several places for furniture that pleased both my husband and I and it wasn't until we found Mum's that we were able to actually invest our funds in a beautiful coffee table and three side tables (with custom measurements). Mum's does not have your standard, cookie-cutter designs that you find at the popular furniture stores. We love the tables we found as they are very unique and came in a variety of colors. The quality is superb, the price was appropriate and the selection that we found was plentiful.

Mum's Place is the only place to buy furniture locally. The service is unsurpassed! I needed a new sofa for one of the vacation rentals at 5:30 on Friday afternoon. Mugo graciously helped me select one, and then called his delivery guys back to work to insure that the guests had it when they wanted it. The entire process, including delivery, did not take thirty minutes! Thank you, Mugo, and your fabulous staff!

Purchased 4 chairs here less than a year ago. They were originally priced at $4000 and got them on sale for $2000. That is still a LOT to pay for 4 chairs. However, within 3 months, we noticed that the method of support to the seat was weak (just elastic bands), it actually ripped the bottom liners of the chairs. I've contacted the store 6 times and can not get a single reply. Now these chairs are so uncomfortable to sit on as the seat goes to low and the frame around it causes discomfort to the backs of our legs. These chairs say Made in China on the bottom, which I didn't notice when
