I knew when I started to serve preschools and schools I wanted to create a look and environment when children were in front of my camera they would let go, be free, be themselves. I have been trained by a professional dance company and two artistic directors who have trained thousands of dancers. I specialize in live performance photography, dance head shots, recital posed, performance, and street dance photography.

Thank you for stopping by and reading about ME! My name is Katrina Taggart-Hecksher, you can call me Kat. I am the owner and photographer behind Gianna Grace Photography! First and most importantly, I am beyond grateful that God has blessed me with creative talents, I do not take them for granted or believe they are mine alone.
I am SO excited to welcome the class of 2022 to my studio for Senior Yearbook Formals! We offer a more personal experience to the high volume photographers the high schools provide. You will have an hour to take your portrait, view it, choose your favorite for the yearbook and make your order during your one hour in studio session!
These pictures were shot at Tuckahoe! Red is definitely her color! Jessica is a natural in front of the camera, how can you not be when you are that gorgeous? Jessica said that her mom is her biggest inspiration because she is very selfless, hardworking, and she never gives up. She does so much for their family and she appreciates her so much.
Your final year at school is a special time, it's a year full of big decisions, saying goodbye to your school home and embarking on a new and exciting journey. You are the cusp of something wonderful and by documenting this through photography you will always remember how you felt during your senior and high school years!
HI WUMP families! I am SO elated to capture your little ones this school year! My prayer is always that God helps me capture your children the way he uniquely has created them and when you look at your portraits you smile and see your little one's joyful spirit reflected in his or her portraits! Passcodes will be emailed to parents on Tuesday and sent home via paper form as well!

Simply amazing. Every picture Kat shared with us for our anniversary photoshoot were breath taking. The whole experience was perfect. We found Kat through the recommendation of Historic Tuckahoe place and we are forever grateful. I normally don't do well with pictures and don't generally don't know how to smile in front of a camera. But, Kat's cheerful and energetic personality forced us to smile and ultimately have some great pictures as a result. She was extremely friendly, provided fast responses and tips, great value and overall made the experience memorable. Most importantly, she is talented

We had such a great experience working with Kat and so appreciate her willingness to work with us last minute and on a tight schedule while we were visiting Richmond! She did family photos (for two families of 4) and also a dance shoot for my 11 year old daughter. Her talent and expertise is top notch and it is apparent in her work...we love the pictures! We will definitely be visiting the Richmond area again and can't wait for our next photo session with Kat!

We used Kat for my daughters senior photo shoot and it truly was an amazing experience. Kat is caring, understanding, flexible, professional, and a wonderful photographer (of course), and truly just a lovely person. Kat made my daughter feel important and special with every encounter. Kat took time and showed genuine personal care to ensure we were happy during the entire time. On the photography side of things, every one of her shots were amazing, we had the hardest time choosing our favorites. Would not hesitate to work with Kat again and welcome sharing our wonderful experience.

Katrina was recommended to us for our maternity photos, and she did such a beautiful job. She was very responsive via email, and provided examples of her work so we could choose the perfect setting for our photos. They turned out so incredibly beautiful, and our gallery was ready for review in a timely manner. I would highly recommend her!

What a great experience we had! Our photos turned out great and with stunning quality, and style too!
We have already used Katrina twice, once through school, and once for private photos. Everything was clean, and comfortable. She was so great with our kids, and clicked with them right away to get the best shots for our school portraits.

Katrina Boone was so pleasant and easy to work with. I liked that she had a very good sense of what needed to be done and gave good direction. She was mindful of what might be problematic in the pictures such as hair etc. What a positive energy she exuded which made the session enjoyable.
