Jennite Company has been a preferred contractor in the Toledo area for over 70 years. It all started with Cliff Schoen as a sewer and paving contractor in the 1940's. He later became the first distributor for Jennite sealer in the eastern half of the United States.
In the 1950's as road construction shifted from brick to asphalt pavements, Jennite continued to grow, providing high quality commercial and residential asphalt all over Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.Since those days, the Jennite Company has remained a strong family business, run for many years by Bob Wheeler, Sr.

Services
The Jennite Company is a local family owned and operated company, which has been in operation since 1946. Our company has set the standards for high quality work at competitive prices throughout Northwest Ohio & Southeastern Michigan. We pride ourselves in being "Toledo's Favorite Paving & Sealing Contractor."
The first thing both you and visitors see when approaching your home is your driveway. Not only can we make your driveway visually appealing, we can also make it strong and long lasting. Whether it's a new drive, or one that needs the proper repair or maintenance, the professionals at the Jennite Co. can take care of you.
If your pavement has little or no obvious base failure, or if you've repaired your structural problems and are looking for a way to prolong the life of your pavement, an asphalt overlay can be a cost effective repair. A tack coat should be applied, with a distributor truck at a rate of.05-.10 gallons per square yard.
Pavement milling allows property owners to overlay their pavement when there is no room, elevation-wise. The existing pavement can be milled down several inches and a new pavement surface can be installed without changing the existing grade. Milling also offers a cleaner, faster method of pavement removal when the existing surface is to be totally replaced.
Properly preparing a site for a new pavement is critical to the overall life of that pavement. Site preparation typically consists of setting correct elevations, moving the earth, installing required drainage, and creating a solid foundation upon which to build the pavement. Structurally, a properly graded site will ensure erosion control, meet local code and provide the necessary drainage control for the area.

These guys should probably stick to doing asphalt. I've heard them advertising new division that does concrete and I need a 8' x 10' pad. Contacted them and after they took 3 weeks to evaluate the job they said it was out of their scope. The access to area of pad is limited, I believe they don't have the equipment or experience with pumping concrete which makes you question how much they know about it.

I requested a quote 13 days ago. Told them to please schedule because I would like to be there. I followed up 5 days later after not hearing back and was told they were put and mailed me the estimate. That was last week. I have not received anything. I reached out to the estimator and requested that they email me the quote. I was told two days ago and still nothing. I have followed up and still no response, no estimate. Absolutely 0 follow up and even worse service and I haven't even had work done...
