Community Outreach Report

At Helping Hands Thrift Store, we rely on the generous donations of the local community to collect used clothing, furniture, and household items. When we resell those items to friends like you, we help our community by donating back your gently used clothing and household items to local Christian and government charities.

Donations Report

If you have furniture or household items you no longer need, donate them to us at Helping Hands Thrift Store. If you have sports equipment that you've outgrown or you don't use as much as you once did, we'll take it! Donations are received at our front door during store hours. We can't take damaged or stained furniture.

Not my experience but my mom’s. Was wanting to donate a lot of my grandmother’s stuff to the store because my grandmother really appreciated the owner and his wife. And employee there was very rude to her at my grandmothers house and at the store as my mom was dropping off items that she was told would be picked up. My mom took the rat to Goodwill and had a much better experience.

I like to go in here from time to time. But I walked in today and found this shirt. And all I could do was laugh... because I AM HERE. I lived to tell my story of how good GOD has been to me! I spoke on sooooo many levels!!! Oh yes! I almost forgot why I am in here...🤭 They do have all kind of things in there. Clothes,shoe, furniture, toys, video games, Christmas decor, pots and pans, and much more.Be blessed and he a blessing! And remember...

The WORST shop. They really don’t want to sell anything. Two trips on two different days. They wouldn’t let us in even once opening hours were in effect. Second trip shopped all around, had my hands full and she wouldn’t sell me two books because they weren’t priced yet. I will never go back!

Relocated to Montgomery due to Hurricane Ida so had to start over. The staff was very helpful. Prices great! Delivery service available at reasonable rates.

Very dirty and disorganized store. I have been shopping here regularly for about a year and they have consistently raised their prices without any raise of standards. Used to be a great "yard sale" now it's a dirty and messy thrift store with high prices.
