Sona Homes is a family owned and operated General Contracting firm based in Stafford, VA. Founded by two cousins, Amit Parbadia and Kirit Parbadia, with a background in commercial contracting, Sona Homes has built over 800 new homes across Northern and Central Virginia since 1989.
Amit and Kirit chose to name the company after their grandmother, Sona Parbadia, to be guided in business by the values their family had instilled in them, and to signify that their customers and partners are also a part of their family.The word "Sona" also translates to "Gold" in the founders' native Gujarati and further drives our entire team towards our goal of being the "Gold Standard" of the new home construction industry.
