We offer twenty-five riverside rooms with a distinctly high desert lodge feel. They are very comfortable, well appointed and most have two beds. With over 1/4 mile of river frontage, we are ideally situated to provide you with convenient access for whatever your Deschutes River recreational activity might be.
Imperial River Company is the premier Deschutes river rafting guide. The Deschutes River carves its way for 250 miles from Little Lava Lake to the Columbia River. The lower 100 miles of the river flows through beautiful desert landscape and is termed the "Lower Deschutes." Our 25-room lodge and guided whitewater operation are located in the center of this lower 100 miles, in Maupin, Oregon.

Winters visit are great because the river activities are shut down. Sontherebwere no crowds. Great rooms and basic amenities. But check ahead about availability of food! The only breakfast available was offered by the hotel. Bagels, yogurt, fruit, some frozen entrees. It was ok, but I personally try to eat a bit more carefully. That's just me. There is a bar and food available in the evenings...but next time, we will bring more of our own food. There are microwaves and mini-fridges with small freezer compartments. Plus coffee and teas in the rooms. Very nice. The staff were friendly, and helpful

We love Imperial River Company! We have stayed here several times over the years and this year for our anniversary, we brought our 3 kids, my father and my inlaws for a small family weekend! We try to come each year for our anniversary to get away and plan to keep coming back with hopes to keep sharing such a special place/experience with friends and family! I highly recommend spending as much time at the imperial river company as possible and look forward to next year.

We did the all day, 18 mile trip. The rapids were fun and exciting. We all received our fair share of big water splashes. Our guide knew exactly what he was doing, with fun and excitement. It was just an overall fun and relaxing experience. The lunch they provided was filling, they gave the option of beef, chicken, or veggie and black bean sandwiches, serving all cheese on the side just in case. We also had cookies and chips and watermelon. We 10/10 recommend doing this trip, it was amazing!!

Great experience staying in one of the RVs on site. If you can you might check if they are available first instead of a traditional hotel room. Much more private and almost as much room plus more secluded than in the hotel. RV had room for 3+ and a dog no problem. Making a reservation for next year!

Took my youth group rafting here and it was THE BEST!
Bryan was our guide and hands down the best guide there! We asked for Bryan’s help to get our youth leader off his raft to which Bryan responded, “So I’ve been dreaming up this scheme for awhile now called the damsel in destress...”
Bryan successfully executed each sneak attack and got every single rafter off his raft which we affectionately named “The Barrel”!
10/10 recommend the Imperial Rafting Company! Only word advise- get Bryan as your guide!!!

Derrick and Brian are amazing guides! Super great with my kid and it meant a lot. The atmosphere at the hotel was calm and laid back. With the restaurant and bar on site it's easy just to relax and have fun. Front desk staff was very nice, and helped me several times. Well done Imperial River Company!!

I absolutely loved it here, being right on the water and seeing it from our room was amazing. The room had vaulted ceilings with a giant window above and lent such great light into the room. The river is amazing and the rafting was both a little challenging AND super fun! The experience as a while will really make a weekend! AND they are super dog friendly!
