I'm a state certified and nationally licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. With over 2000 clinical training hours in addition to my practice, I strive to provide the most gentle yet effective treatment for a variety of health issues.

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are holistic medicines that consider the whole person in diagnosis and treatment, therefore you may notice an improvement in areas other than what you come in for, in addition to an overall feeling of wellness. Please contact me with any questions you may have, and if cost is a consideration there are options available.
Services
I am a nationally certified and state licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. I hold a four-year Masters degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, and have over 2000 hours of training. There I treated a diverse group of patients in a number of private and community clinic settings.
Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive treatment method to help millions of people become well and stay well. Acupuncture promotes natural healing. It can enhance recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well-being.
Acupuncture has been employed as a health care modality for over 5,000 years. Modern science has begun to understand the secrets of this ancient medicine with the support of new studies conducted by leading scientists, hospitals and medical research facilities from all over the world. Today, acupuncture is receiving wide acceptance as a respected, valid and effective form of health care.
Initial visits generally last from 30 to 90 minutes. Your acupuncturist will take a detailed health history, perform a physical exam, and provide you with your unique treatment plan. During your first exam, your acupuncturist will spend time getting to know you and your health concerns.

You may be asked a wide range of questions about your symptoms, eating, exercise, sleep habits, emotional states and anything that may offer insight into your health.Your practitioner will also employ diagnostic tools that are unique to acupuncture and TCM such as tongue and pulse diagnosis. To treat any Qi imbalances, fine, sterile needles will be inserted at specific acupuncture points along the meridian pathways.
Gathering this information enables the practitioner to effectively diagnose and detect any specific imbalances of Qi that may have contributed to a persons health problems. The practitioner can then create a well-structured treatment plan. Once the imbalances of Qi are detected, an acupuncturist will place fine, sterile needles at specific acupoints along meridian pathways.

Charlotte is an amazing acupuncturist! I went in with chronic back pain from surgery I had in 2017, and after going for only about a month I could already tell the difference in my pain, as well as my attitude. She listens to me, treats me as a friend not just a patient, and she really knows her stuff.

After years of avoiding acupuncture due to my needle phobia, I found someone who not only eased my fears/worries but helped me manage my chronic pain. Charlotte is professional, knowledgeable and so good at what she does. I recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for relief from their aches, pains, colds, sleep disruption or anyone looking for a little self care and relaxation.

I came to Char with chronic back problems, we discussed treatment and there was no pressure to commit to a costly regimen- she also accommodated my hectic work schedule. It’s been over a year and have had success treating my back problems, recurring sinus infections (actually not occurring anymore) and other pains & ills that come up. Char loves to share her knowledge and uses Chinese herbs in the treatment process which works great for me!

I hadn't had acupuncture for years. After seeing Charlotte, I remembered just how great and therapeutic it is. Charlotte is a wonderful practitioner. She was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and just a delight to be around. Not only is she knowledge about acupuncture, she is just as educated in Chinese Herbal Medicine. After a visit discussing my needs and hopes regarding my general health, she personalized an herbal supplements plan. I've implemented the suggested supplements into my daily routine, and acupuncture into my general health plan. And I can say it has helped immensely. Charlotte

This has been my first experience with acupuncture treatment and it has been excellent and extremely beneficial. I have been seeing Charlotte for a shoulder/arm issue and have had much improvement in the aching and tingling that I was having. She has also prescribed herbs to help with some of my other issues that have been helping as well! I highly recommend Charlotte as a knowledgeable, caring, excellent practitioner!
