Services
Dr. Timothy Finelli was raised in West Islip, NY. He attended Tufts University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Returning to Long Island for his dental training, Dr. Finelli graduated first in his class from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Immediately following dental school, he completed two years of training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Boston University.
We understand that orthodontic treatment can interfere with important obligations that you have during the day, including work and school. We have tried to design treatment methods in order to minimize our appointment times and intervals between visits to allow fewer conflicts with your schedule. During your orthodontic care, there will be different types of appointments that are needed.
This important visit will fully address the orthodontic needs of you or your child and is complimentary (FREE OF CHARGE). Once Dr. Finelli or Dr. Siller review the records and confirm the initial treatment plan, you are now ready to get your braces! For most patients, this is the appointment where the doctor places the braces on the teeth and a wire is secured into the brackets.

I had braces as a teenager but by adulthood my teeth had moved again and I hated them. At age 29 I decided I wanted to fix them and didn’t want to do traditional braces again so I decided to try Invisalign. I am so happy with the experience and the results! The entire Secoast Orthodontics staff has been wonderful through the whole process and made it painless and easy. They are consistently friendly, professional, kind and supportive which is especially appreciated during this crazy time.

Excellent pediatric practice for braces and orthodontic work. Doctors are wonderful as is staff. Always friendly and patient and they really have gone out of their way to accommodate difficult scheduling issues. My 14 year old freshmen in HS started his Invisalign’s 2 years ago ... he persevered with the help of Seacoast which included patience and a good sense of humor. His teeth look beautiful! I highly recommend this practice.

Great staff, from the front desk to the orthodontists. We got great results and, as a parent, I always felt in the loop. When things went wrong—as they inevitably do—they were always able to get us in quickly.

Best orthodontist around!
We are on our third member of our family coming here. I wouldn’t go or bring my kids anywhere else.
Drs are great, and we love the rest of the staff especially Heather. My daughter is generally very nervous but she makes her feel at ease!!!
