My Name is Heath Duncan. We are a faith-based, family owned company. When my wife and I decided to start our own bonding company 8 years ago, our desire was to be more involved, not just to be there to collect money, sign a paper and then leave. Our job is to work through the process with your family/friend in a professional, kind, and caring manner.
Bail exists simply to get you out of a seriously unwanted situation! Most importantly, we can help you, a friend or loved one get out of jail quickly. The amount required is only 10 percent. The bail amount is based on the seriousness of the charges, a person's record, and the probability of the individual showing up for the court date.
In Kansas, a bail bond is actually referred to as a "surety bond." The surety bond is a guaranteed and underwritten by a licensed Kansas bail bondsman who is backed by an insurance company. A Kansas bail agent makes guarantees to the court a payment of the full amount of the bond if the defendant fails to appear for their scheduled court appearances.
Warrants are issued in the Wichita and Sedgwick County area on a daily basis. An arrest warrant is issued when an individual who is scheduled to appear in court does not show up for their court appearance. The most horrible experience ever. I went to the with cash in hand and they said they could bond her out. I signed papers and left they said they take care of the rest. We'll I sat for four hours waiting to find out that they couldn't do it they didn't even tell me so I sat up there for nothing thinking she would be out I went back up to the office that's when they told me that they couldn't do it

Once arrested, whether charges are valid or not the authorities may choose to keep an individual locked up until a judge can sort it out. This can take months.
In the past few years I've seen this happen twice to close friends and have gone both times to A Second Chance Bail Bonds for help getting them released. Both times I've been impressed with how efficiently these folks pulled the strings necessary to get people out of jail so they can get back into their jobs, families - lives!

Unfortunately i have had to ask for their assistance (i say this in a good way, just wish i could have met them in better circumstances) but they are All so nice and understanding and will try to help anyway they can. I have not taken the time out to see exactly why they are so nice. It could very well be they just have manners or they have been through sitations like everyone they help.....given the name of the company but sometimes that isn't always the deal either. Its obvious that whoever started this company believes in God and to me thats all you need to know!

They were very busy, too busy so that there was 7 of us in a 12 x 12 room waiting to talk to one person. This might not seem like such a big deal except that the people's personal information was being discussed in that room where there was all seven customers waiting. I'm thankful it wasn't my information that was being discussed.

The entire staff has been great. My newly adult son was detained & needed to bail him out. I had never done this before so I wanted to make sure I knew what I needed or if I can even afford it. They were very thorough with me & extremely helpful. Angel also worked with me when I didn't have the exact amount I needed & I was able to make payments for the rest. I don't know what I would have done not having my Baby Boy home another day. I definitely feel blessed! 😇
