They installed my system in May. Wasn't activated until August. Sunnova noticed an issue with my system ON OCTOBER 7TH and put in a service ticket with Green Brilliance to repair my system. Green Brilliance never responded to Sunnova. Sunnova decided to send their own tech out. He won't be here until Jan 28th. In the mean time, my electric bills look like I don't have any solar panels at all installed on my house at all. Green Brilliance never responds to me when I call them. Please do not deal with Green Brilliance. Thank me later

Absolute scam. Whatever you do, do not use this solar company. I went into contract for a generator along with my solar panels. It’s been 6 months and I have not received a generator. I have to call them for updates.
In addition, they offered a $500 gift card incentive when I went into contract - I have not received the gift card either. Worst part is that my panels haven’t been working since September and I still haven’t received feedback from customer service on when they come out to fix the connection.

We started in June and it's now December and permits are the issue. we call and get voice mail and get ignored. they don't seem to work with us. we also want this wrapped up before the end of the year for tax purposes. we are very disgusted with this company. think twice before you deal with them. there time is valuable not yours. this better get posted or this is one more thing I despise about the company.

My salesmen was great, the way he was able answer all have my questions was the reason I went with GreenBrilliance. However, once the system was installed and the project was turned over to the in house team, this has honestly been one of the worst displays of Customer service I have ever had to deal with. I was told my system would be up and running within 60 days, and we have gone well past that deadline. I am now paying for a solar system I can not use.

Cheap. And you get what you're paying for. At the outset, they set unrealistic production goals and never came close to meeting them. Then, stuff would break and getting service from them was always a nightmare. They basically just decided to stop responding and wait me out. Lastly, their crummy GB panels have degraded at 3%/yr vs. the 1% industry standard over the 10 years i've had the system. Cannot recommend this vendor.

As of today, I am pleased with my system and installation. The process was a bit shaky in the beginning but Emma and Havar have been spectacular and knowledgeable. They have gone above and beyond! In the beginning I was having some concerns over the process and management of my installation but that all changed when Emma and Havar stepped in to get things back on track. I cannot say enough about the customer service I received from them. The install team did a beautiful job and the project team accommodated my scheduling needs. I think overall the quality of the system appears to be top notch.

Lillian Rowe and Jonathan Ngo were great and personable to work with through the sales process for solar with Green Brilliance. Out of the three solar companies I got bids from, they were quickest to respond to any questions and find the answers they didn’t immediately have on hand. They were even able to line up a contractor for needed roof work that was very competitively priced. They handled the HOA, and visited each time a step in the process was completely. Couldn’t be happier!

In the end, I'm pleased with the results. Our customer rep, Emma, has been amazing. Incredibly communicative and eager to help, she has guided us through the process and handled everything with grace and an upbeat attitude. She handled all of my queries and solved a number of issues that cropped up. That said, the handoff from sales was not smooth and before we connected with Emma, there was a long period where we were not being kept informed or where there was confusion about the details. If I hadn't stayed on top of everything and kept records of all interactions, this could have gone poorly

They have tried to charge me 250 just for looking at the roof because of a possible leak and did not disclose the fee beforehand. They are not honest and aboveboard. They are bad people. They don't care about good customer relations, they just want money. Don't ever do business with them. If you give your credit information or social security number, they can use it to compromise your identity. I am not saying they would do such a thing but they could threaten it. I would like to give them zero stars. I wish i had never done business with them

In or about June 2016, Green Brilliance (GB) installed solar panels for my neighbors. We live in rowhomes and GB mounted their panels onto the shared parapet wall (see photos). GB did not notify me in advance and did not have permission to access my roof during their installation. Last year, I noticed a ceiling leak above my staircase which was traced back to the fact GB drilled holes in the flashing/wall cap to mount their solar panels and then didn't seal any of the bolts. Not only that, GB damaged my roof, did not notify me of the damage, and made a very poor attempt to fix it (spoiler

Green Brilliance installed my system back in 2010. I had a really disappointing experience with them at the outset in the form of really poor customer service/responsiveness. I remember they gave me such a dubious estimate on my panel performance - that I made them write an adjustment clause in the contract if they failed to perform. They *did* fail to perform (by about 35%!) and they blithely ignored the clause when I brought it to their attention.
Now, 10 years later, my Enphase gear is starting to fail and I've spent OVER A YEAR with them trying to get them to honor the warranties.

GreenBrilliance installed solar panels on my roof in No VA. After signing a contract, and paying a large downpayment, the company insisted on requiring more money for installing an electrical subpanel that they failed to notice I needed before sending their proposal. Furthermore, they tried to sell me on additional services that were not required by code. I dislike salespeople trying to upsell at time of installation.

We installed our system in May 2019. While the installation took longer than we expected, the Green Brilliance Team worked with us to resolve a few hurdles. System worked well for a year, in May 2020 we noticed that our system was no longer producing energy. GB were quite responsive once they received our message and helped us replace a faulty inverter with a turnaround time of just over a week (the inverter was being shipped from the West coast). Through all of this, their team responded back to our queries for information. The replacement was done as planned, and system has been up and running

From beginning to end, I found everyone at GreenBrilliance informative and helpful in the process. The sales team professionally explained my options and walked me through the steps for installing the system and how I would receive my rebate. The install crew was on top of their game as well. They answered all my questions and were thoughtful about… explaining the installation and how the system would work. The system GreenBrilliance installed is of top most quality, with their extremely high performing PV panels, well-engineered solution and great workmanship. Their pricing was the most

Avoid at all cost. The customer service is non-existent. I bought a system from them last year, after months of delays, the system was online, only to stop working one year later. Getting a technician to come repair the system is next to impossible. I am now forced to go pay another Solar company to come fix this system.

Do Not Use.

I signed a contract with Green Brilliance expecting, based on their timeline, a 10 week process. It's now well over a year (16 months) and I do not have a fully operational system. They regularly reschedule at the last minute. Their communication is absolutely AWFUL. Not professional at all. I am filing a complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission because I am now several months into paying for a non-operational system.

It took over 6 months after I signed a contract with GreenBrilliance for them to finish the install, and another 9 months to get them to do anything about their defective install.

After 6 months of delays after signing the contract, Green Brilliance installed solar panels on my flat roof in March. On June 1st, I went up on the roof and noticed that the roof penetrations were not flashed (nothing to prevent water from leaking through the holes they created), and had large cross-hatch cuts with no attempt to seal them. I also tightened some of the bolts but the ones on the south side of my roof
