Another option would be to walk out to the ocean front deck and enter in the other side of the duplex through their ocean front door.

Shorewood addressed our concerns about cleaning. It was unfortunate that our brief stay had to be interrupted with maintenance/housekeeping issues; however both service people were in and out quickly on the same day and almost at the same time.
Shorewood personnel are friendly and helpful, quick to respond.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Watch. The ocean front view every day was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the rocking chairs and the table and chairs everyday at lunch on the deck. The living area and bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was nice. The outside shower was a big plus. We would definitely stay there again.

For 13 years I have been renting a vacation beach house from Shorewood and I wouldn't use any other company. Not only are they knowledgeable and helpful in finding just the right property, but they also provide exceptional service -- from prompt service to anything that needs attention (and even in their well maintained beach houses something occasionally breaks!) to recommending a good local mechanic for a car problem and the best local place to buy seafood. The staff is both professional and friendly and do everything possible to make vacations perfect.

Beautiful condo with beautiful view!!!!! nicely decorated too. Only thing that we were disappointed with is the condo was not clean!! shower in master bedroom was filthy . floors were so dirty you had to wear shoes because your feet would turn black if not!!!! cleaning people are not paying attention to detail. we own a restaurant so cleanliness means a lot to us. would i rent iy again> Yes, but you need to have a talk with your cleaning company.

Just got back from a fabulous stay at After Dune Delight in Emerald Isle, NC, and I can't say enough good things about the property and Shorewood Real Estate. The property was gorgeous and perfect for our family of 10 and Shorewood was a delight to deal with - every time I called with a question, each person was so nice, pleasant and warm to speak to. Thank you so much again! We can't wait to return!

A great layout with a nicely furnished great room with super beach views, well equpped kitchen, and ample bedrooms and bathrooms. 6 adults, 4 kids and a dog had plenty of space to stretch out and a 90 foot walk to the beach was icing on the cake. It couldn't have been better. If the stars align and we get a chance to vacation in Emerald Isle again, we will gravitate back to Big Pelican if its available.
