Pleasant Bay Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
Within our 70,000 square foot facility located on 13 acres near the four corners of Brewster, Orleans, Harwich and Chatham, more than 150 professionals work to provide the highest level of care to residents in our nursing wings, patients in our post-hospitalization rehabilitation wing, and outpatients with physical therapy requirements.

But there is something else that makes Pleasant Bay such a special place. It's something that cannot be easily described, but can be seen in all the details of what our staff does each day and night-and is often reflected in the faces of our patients. It is whispered about in the medical community, and passed along among friends and neighbors in the Lower Cape communities.
Services
For our long-term nursing patients, we are focused on support, caring, and compassion-while not forgetting the fun side of life, too. For our in- and out-patient rehabilitation patients, we perform a wide range of physical and occupational therapies at the highest level of quality--within an environment that is comfortable and fully supportive.
Perhaps the most comprehensive array of physical therapy services found on the Lower Cape are performed in the rehabilitation wing at Pleasant Bay. Our 5000-square-foot rehabilitation unit includes a separate and distinct entrance for our patients. Our staff works with your doctor to perform the necessary physical and occupational therapy in a way that allows you to live a more normal life.
The commitment to outstanding care at Pleasant Bay is emphasized in sll our daily operations: from the long-term nursing community to our in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation services. We view this commitment not just from a medical perspective, but just as importantly, from a human perspective.

I have to give Pleasant Bay a mixed review.
My elderly father was admitted two weeks ago for care & rehab. There are some wonderful staff & nurses, Dr. Gupta, Nancy(nurse), Michelle (social worker) who are caring & work very hard, but other staff members are not as caring or as dedicated to the patient's rehabilitation.
I commend the wonderful staff nurses & professionals who are dedicated to the care & rehabilitation of their patients.
To be more specific, the staff members who are not appear to hide behind excuses & "patient rights".
Some of the rehabilitation staff are not motivated to help

They are letting visitors in to see patients now but you do have to call to set up an appointment. First come first serve.

My father complained to social worker and aid was taken off his case that very same day she went back to my father's room and confronted him told him to get up and use the bathroom then left him on the toilet for two hours...he's a vet as well. Discusting care place smells like urine as soon as you walk in I may be seeking legal representation shortly

Went here ONCE working through a nursing agency, I will never go back. And I will never refer any friends here. If you care about your family members take them OUT OF HERE!
