At Sun Valley Skin Center, we recognize that your choice of a dermatologist is driven both by the doctor's competency and personality. When searching for dermatological treatment, you need a dermatologist who is experienced, understanding and supportive. You get this caring attitude from all the staff at Sun Valley Skin Center every day.
It includes descriptions of our office location, including a map and directions, hours, appointment scheduling, insurance acceptance and billing policies. We strive to make productive use of our patients time and do not double book our schedule, meaning that we strive to run on time. For this reason we have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
If you are a New patient who is interested in scheduling with our practice please call our office at (208) 287 - 5525. Whether or not you are a medical or cosmetic patient we need you to fill out online patient paperwork which we will grant you access to over the phone, once paperwork is completed we can place you in the schedule.

Dr. Borton and her staff are wonderful! I have been going to her for many, many years. My early visits were to keep tabs on some suspicious moles, she never pushed me to do any kind of cosmetic work. Years later I consulted with her about some more proactive things I could do in regards to anti aging, she listened to my needs and gave me excellent advice. Again, she never pushed products unless I ask. The procedures and products I have received from her and her staff have been so awesome! I highly recommend her! Alyssa and Alex are wonderful upaup front and I never have to wait for my appointment

I have been going to Dr Borton for the last 3 years and she has completely changed my skin for the better. She is kind, compassionate, and cares deeply about her patient’s outcomes. Everyone in the office is so lovely and welcoming each time I come in. Dr Borton is the only dermatologist I trust for my skin.

Dr. Borton is the most kindest, caring, loving beauty woman who loves her patience and will help their skin look beautiful! I have been to a couple different dermatologist, but have not found one that has truly cared about me and who wanted to make me better until I went to Dr. Borton. She is the BEST and I would definitely recommend going to her. Her staff are also amazing and are so friendly and kind!

I felt the need to share my experience with Dr Borton and her practice after reading some of these posts. I worked for Dr Borton at Sun Valley Skin Center for nearly 18 month before leaving to go to PA school and I cannot say enough about her or how I feel about this practice. Dr Borton trained at one of the nations best medical schools and residencies. She has decades of experience dealing with patients one on one. I feel it is important to write a review about Dr. Borton and her practice, Sun Valley Skin Center, as I do not understand or believe the merit of the negative reviews. I personally worked for Dr. Borton as one of her medical assistants for over a year prior to attending nursing school. I feel very grateful for the level of preparedness in medicine that I gained while working at this practice. It’s challenging for me to summarize exactly how I feel about Dr. Borton and my experience at her practice because it was truly exceptional, and I do not believe enough words suffice.

I must say that quite frankly I cannot relate at all to the few negative reviews as I have been going to Dr. Borton for the past few years and find her the most knowledgeable and helpful dermatologist I have ever been to....and at my age (66) and with the skin issues I have had, I have seen many. Today I had another procedure and as usual am very pleased with the procedure, the recommendations, the Dr. and the staff. Dr. B knows her stuff.
