Les has worked for Charles E. Groff for over 20 years and took ownership of the company in 2008. He spends the majority of his time visiting with customers and providing accurate estimates for moving jobs. Stacey is the general manager for Groff's overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company.

Overall a wonderful business! The guys are hard workers and can be quite helpful in placing the items. They are very informative, verbally and on paper. They are helpful when it comes to questions and resolving any issues. On top of it, the garage did a great job with fixing my vehicle and thoroughly checking for the issues. They've been around for 70+ years and I know why. :)

The movers and the moving process was the only positive thing about this company. Movers were great, helpful, and knowledgeable. I did not have any issues with this company until realizing I was missing all of the boxes we dropped off ourselves at their facility to be put in storage. Upon realizing we were missing boxes after moving out of storage, we called to see what could be done. The lady informed me that there was no documentation of us dropping any boxes off and therefore nothing could be done. Explained to her that these boxes were numbered and written down on a list in front of me before

After just making my first intrastate move using Charles Groff and Sons, Bekins, I have only good things to say about them. To mention a few highlights, the initial telephone contacts with their office were professionally handled, scheduling the estimator was prompt and the estimated was knowledgeable and friendly. The company worked with us on scheduling the loading and unloading dates and times especially considering we had a short timeline on our side to set the process up. We just moved on 8/31 - 9/1/20. Their estimator came out and did a walk through of our house. Gave a fair price and reasonable expectation. They loaded everything up on 8/31 and then drove the trucks to their secure location overnight. Came back on 9/1 and unloaded everything. They didn't break anything. Very efficient. Very friendly and respectful. Extremely punctual. The centralized schedulers do a great job of communicating with you. I would definitely use them again.

Charles E. Groff & Sons packed and moved some of my belongings into their storage facility after my parents died. During an incredibly difficult time, they were kind and efficient. The estimate was accurate. The movers came on time and were fast. They took perfect care of fragile, sentimental items (e.g. antique furniture & lamps). And after 3 years in their storage, everything was in good condition. Access to the storage container is by appointment. They will pull everything out if you need to go through anything (and then pack it back up). This company was recommended to me by friends

The worst experience I have ever had with a company hands down. The movers were disrespectful, rude and spoke down to me and ruined my furniture when moving it. When I asked what had happened to my couch when I saw that they leg had broken off, they said it happened it our storage unit, but we saw them move it out of our storage unit and the leg was perfectly intact. They will ruin your furniture and then lie about it, overcharge you for services by taking multiple breaks and just sitting in the truck and ruin your new home. Very mixed review. I will be cut and dry. I was given a time frame that they did not honor, 2 hours late. But when the movers got there they did work very fast. Customer service was very rude even the supervisor called me stupid! The movers only worked for 51 mins but there's a 2 hour minimum that I was never told about also the movers seemed shocked about it too . Hope this helps anyone
