We set out to create a brand with soul - something inspired by the classic masculine American spirit, drawing inspiration from the stories and icons of generations past. Ben Douglas Clothing Co. turned out to be more than a brand; it's a living tribute to the well-dressed gentlemen who came before us.
Our custom shop is convienently located inside of John Hyatt Clothing on Springfield Ave. in downtown Summit, NJ. There is metered parking on the street, as well as free 2-hour parking on Waldron Ave., which is just a short walk from our storefront. We are now offering online ordering to all of our existing clients - we have your measurements and preferred details on file - you just need to pick out your fabrics! We've uploaded our best sellers below. If you have ordered from us previously, we have your measurements on file and can accept orders via email or phone. We currently do not support custom orders through our web store. We do not - we currently only offer custom appointments at our physical location in Summit, NJ. Your first appointment involving fabrics, details, and measurements will usually take about 45 minutes - 1 hour.

As both a somewhat "larger" person and a neophyte in regards to custom clothing, I was initially hesitant when ordering my first shirt - a gift from a colleague. Within the first moments of my initial fitting, however, I was sold. Aside from the thorough measuring, fitting, an detailed explanation of the entire process from start to finish, I was most impressed with Thomas' attention to detail - particularly his questions as to how I liked my shirts to fit. My Ben Douglas shirt has become, by far, the favorite of my entire wardrobe.

Tom, the face behind "Ben Douglas Clothing Company" provided a great experience as a first time client. I have never ordered custom shirts before, however with Tom's expertise & advice, it was a smooth and enjoyable event.
