I began my culinary career by training as a French pastry chef at Rudi's Bakery in Boston. In 1985, I won a Julia Child Fellowship to study cooking in France. I worked and studied for a year in Paris at La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine, working side by side with French chefs, acting as translator and assistant.

Designing the menu for your wedding reception might seem like a huge task, especially if you're trying to accommodate different food tastes.
Our unique and slightly eclectic fare is perfect whether you are welcoming a guest speaker with a formal dinner or delicious luncheon, celebrating holidays, or rewarding your staff for dedicated service. As a member of Congregation Beth Shalom, I am well versed in the rules of Kashrut and Beth Shalom kitchen policy.
When you want to celebrate in the warmth and comfort of your own home, it's our pleasure to provide the excellent food and service that allows you to be a guest at your own party. We can also help you find the perfect venue for your special occasion so you can celebrate in style, no matter the length of your guest list or whatever the size of your event.
We have been catering university events for over thirty years. Our name is on the Indiana University list of approved caterers for food and alcohol service, and we carry the requisite liability insurance for food and alcohol service, both on and off campus. We custom design menus for every event and budget, and work to accommodate vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free guests, and omnivores.
As a member of Congregation Beth Shalom, I am well versed in the rules of Kashrut and Beth Shalom kitchen policy. I would love to cater your kiddush luncheon, your Shabbat dinner, or your Saturday night celebration. Or all three! I have catered kiddush luncheons for my own three children, as well as countless other children over the past thirty years.

I cannot say enough good things about Cynthia to accurately describe my feelings in working with her. She is absolutely a joy to work with and the whole wedding rehearsal dinner and reception dinner and dessert planning process was so easy going. Our guests RAVED that we had the best wedding food they have ever experienced. I can personally say that being lactose and gluten intolerant...her GF LF red velvet cake was the best I have ever had in my life. My husband and I have already decided to order it every year on our wedding anniversary. She is AMAZING!

Cynthia and her team served at my daughter’s recent outdoor wedding. Cynthia was so easy to work with, creative and responsive. She even took the time to come out to our venue in advance to make sure she was prepared for the logistics. The food was delicious and the service was very professional and efficient! Not only did multiple guests comment about the quality, but I also reached out for the recipes for a few items! I highly recommend Cynthia and would definitely use her again.

Cynthia provided catering for our sons rehearsal dinner at Oliver Winery. We couldn't have been more pleased with the food. Everyone was so impressed with the flavors. We had Roasted vegetable platter with Tzatziki sauce that was to die for. The Baked bowtie pasta with shiitake mushrooms, Fontina, Gorgonzola, and Parmesan cheeses was so good, I could eat it all day. Cynthia and her team were phenomenal and played a huge part in our day going seamlessly. We were planning our wedding from out of state and were passing through during the holidays. Cynthia was incredible throughout the whole wedding planning process! Though I barely had time to touch my plate with all the guests to talk to and pictures to take, what I got to taste was delicious and the display was gorgeous. She even made a special vegan cake for my husband who is sensitive to dairy! We couldn’t have been happier with it all.

Cynthia did a wonderful job at my daughter's wedding. The food was delicious. A relative who is a sophisticated foodie from a big city just kept saying that she couldn't believe we had food that wonderful and well prepared "in Bloomington"! And all of the guests kept saying how great the food was! Cynthia helped us select a well coordinated menu,… did a great job on a beautiful cake, and was very professional. We can't speak highly enough of Cynthia's service! She catered our wedding with 160 guests and the food was fabulous. Usually people don't have much to say about wedding food, but at ours, people kept talking about how great the food was. Several people told us the food wasn't like typical "wedding food," and it was more like they'd gone to a nice restaurant. Furthermore, Cynthia was extremely accommodating in making a menu with local meat, organic veggies, gluten free options, and vegetarian options.

Cynthia catered my wedding on Saturday, and as soon as I finished sending all the checks I owed people, I sat down to write a raving review for her. I'm really into food - almost obsessively - and the appetizers and dinner were absolute perfection. She was really patient with me in the tasting, and understood EXACTLY what I wanted, which was beautiful, yummy, fresh food.
I've never had such an impressive experience with a caterer, and I can't recommend her highly enough.
