Founded in 1981, Leland-West developed its current "A+" rated collector car insurance program when our late founder, Holly Bromberg, decided he needed a change. After years of overpaying to insure a Porsche which he hardly ever drove and babied like it was a member of the family, Holly decided there must be a better way.

Each licensed driver in your household must have a separate, properly-insured, acceptable car available for their exclusive regular daily use. The exotic or collectible car you want to insure with us is used on a limited pleasure-only basis. It is not used for commuting (unless an Occasional Commuting Endorsement is purchased), store errands or similar normal-daily-use activities.
If you have an exotic, modified or classic car, and you are nervous about any potential insurance settlement, chances are you have good reason to be concerned. If a classic car is totalled by the insurance company, will you receive a fair value for it? Is there a way to lock in an answer of "Yes"? Fortunately there is.
Our classic Old Car Insurance plans are designed for all makes and models of collectible and exotic cars, regardless of their age. These plans are much less restrictive than typical "never-leave-it-unattended" policies.
