Honestly- I ended up in cosmetology school out of laziness. I was tired of book work and didn't want to attend a regular college. I've always enjoyed being creative and working with my hands, so cosmetology school seemed like a fun and quick option. 19 years later (Holy cow I'm old), cosmetology school was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
I love my job. Actually, doing hair and makeup doesn't feel like work at all, it feels like art. I get to create everyday and every new face and head of hair is my new canvas. I love traveling to your beautiful locations. I love the energy and excitement of the wedding day, and leaving with a fulfilled, satisfied feeling.

Chelsey is the best! She is so much fun to work with and I really appreciated how she would ask me if I wanted my make-up to be a little darker, she recommended a great powder to help with shine, and took the time to explain what she was doing during my trial. Brides, I highly recommend doing the trial as this will make your life so much easier the day of. I also recommend doing the airbrush foundation -- it lasted ALL night and I didn't have to touch it up despite lots of sweating. I went with a bolder lip and I loved that Chelsey was able to work with me to find the right color. Finally

I hired her to do my hair and makeup for a huge party and I loved everything she did. She's so sweet and listened to me when I told her I didn't want my face to feel cakey or too made up. I felt comfortable with my hair the entire night too- never feeling like it was going to come apart while I danced. It was such a treat to get my hair and makeup done.
I've even been going to Chelsey for haircuts. She has a designer's eye and that's what I need- she tells me what would look good on me. I just sit in her chair and she fixes me right up. Soon, I&apos
