I needed to file a case with the Kentucky Labor Cabinet to help get my paycheck from an employer who never paid me. Not only did I have to file 2 cases (because they took almost a month) they had the audacity to ask me get my check myself and then took an extra month getting the proper paperwork to me. They were okay with my ex-employer lying about sending my check (they didn’t, I never received it) just to get them off their back. An employer cannot with hold your paycheck from you (it must be given on the next paydays or 14 days, whichever is later) and the Kentucky Labor Cabinet could care

Called up to ask for clarification on the 7 consecutive days of work and was basically told employer can work and employee to death and no statutes to protect employee maybe we all just need to call our congressmen and women and have a statute put into play since the boss gets their weekend why can't we.
