Children are born unique, creative and capable. The challenge for education is to support these strengths and abilities so that each child can grow and develop lifelong skills for problem solving, independence, curiosity, cooperation and a positive attitude towards learning. Our goal is to join with families in the education of their children.
Together we create a community of learners in a supportive, nurturing environment that values our diversity and celebrates our differences. We guide with love and understanding because one of the most important gifts we can give a child is the gift of a healthy self-esteem. We respect each child, nurture his/her spirit, and embrace every culture so that everyone feels included.

Services
Education and development are important, but we know that nothing matters more than the safety, security and health of your child. That's why protection and preparedness are critical considerations in everything we do at Sunshine Academy. From First Aid training for emergency situations to sanitation and ensuring a clean and healthy environment for children, our center is designed with the safety and security of children in mind.
Loving caregivers can be enormously effective in advancing the language skills of infants and toddlers. Research reveals that the more that adults talk with young ones and respond to infant vocalizations and to toddler jargon and babbling, the richer and more powerful the language repertoire of children when they become preschoolers.
Children are using early math skills throughout their daily routines and activities. This is good news as these skills are important for being ready for school, but early math doesn't mean taking out the calculator during playtime. Even before they start school, most children develop an understanding of addition and subtraction through everyday interactions.
Our cooking lessons are focused on developing healthy and nutritional habits in our kids while we boost math and science skills, foster social skills, learn about nutrition and build responsibility and independence. Our Gardening Class is science in action. It lets kids experiment by their self with nature.
Children are born as social beings. As babies, they are introduced to friends and passed to family members of elder generations. As they grow, they start to understand their connection to their families, communities and eventually society as a whole. As parents we want to encourage our children to make investigations about themselves and the world around them.
