Chose Carlos because of his 5 star google reviews and I saw why. Came in to see him for a free consultation on financial planning only to find out later that his specialty is tax defense. Even though our purpose is not his area of specialty, he still spent time listening to us and we never felt rushed the whole time we were at his office.We felt at ease talking to him. Had a rude afternoon, when to my dismay, a notification flashed on my phone from my Wells Fargo account that my balance update was $00.00. At first I thought someone had hacked my account and made off with my checking (a little over $7,000) but a closer look showed that the culprit was the CA Franchise Tax Board (oh joy). The levy was from a court judgment in 2005. Not knowing where to turn, I began to investigate ways to mitigate the damage, and hopefully work out a way to get access to my funds.
