HK Wealth Management, Inc., was formed in 2009, a rocky time in the markets to say the least, but the need for investors to get a higher level of attention to their portfolios was so pressing, the timing could not have been better. Most investors had seen nearly half of their portfolios wiped out in 2 distinct market draw-downs since the beginning of this millennium.

Our payout structure is 50% of the management fees to our IARs. Investment Advisory Services are offered through HK Wealth Management, Inc., a Registered Investment Adviser.
By discussing your needs and evaluating your individual investment temperament, the right choice(s) become apparent. With no fees to enter or exit, there is no disincentive to stay in a position you are not happy with. The exception is most 401(k) plan sponsors will not allow 3rd party management of the current contributions.

After 5+ years of investing with Cory Reader, my portfolio was down 80%. 5+ years of knowledgeable guidance and data-backed charts and reassurances that my losses would jump into positive territory once the big crash happened. Cory will eventually be right; but 5 years of betting against the market without hedging to minimize my losses is not what he promised, not what I signed up for, and irresponsible. Before my retirement was 100% gone, I pulled the plug. I should have done it years ago.

Cory Reader is amazing. He cares and takes the time to personally educate us about investment options and the current and future market trends. He rightly predicted for a downward market where I saw no one else making these claims. Just today 3/16/20 when the stock market took a big dive, I’m up 11% on my investments with Cory’s strategy while many folks are down 20 to 33% off their tradition investments. I feel lucky to have been introduced to, and invested with, Cory Reader of HK Wealth Management in 2019. They offer several portfolios that can be somewhat obtuse, but Cory has spent a considerable amount of time with me explaining the modus operandi of HK Wealth Management, and it rings true with what I see going on in the world.

The other reviews are talking about someone at a different company! HK and Cory Reader have a very white-glove, hands on approach. I've gotten much more of this relationship than I have at other institutions, and feel more balanced than I have ever been. I look forward to a bright and fully funded future.

Cory is the best! In our first meeting, he took the time to explain his and HK Wealth Management's approach in ways I could understand. I am super glad about finding Cory Reader. My funds have done well since I have been with him. He was willing to break down the investing process and make it understandable for me. I really like that he is an independent thinker and doesn't just follow the herd.
