The manager Geo at the Orchard apartments is one the most pleasant people I have ever encountered. It is my opinion that Geo goes above and beyond her normal and regular duties. I have an elderly mother who lives with me here and Geo has practiced the upmost respect, and been very helpful and considerate.
I will just say that Geo and the other staff at The Orchard Apartments are very professional and they have always been there when we needed anything, even one time on the weekend when we had a bird stuck in our exhaust fan. The maintenance guys took care of it with no issues!

I have had a wonderful experience at the Orchard Apartments. The location is great, it is right next to the highway and down town tehachapi, the apartment complex is safe, and the staff has been very kind and respectful.
I had the pleasure to work with Trisha (previous manager), who always treated me with the upmost kindness and made everyone here feel comfortable. It was immediately apparent that Trisha goes out of her way help her customers. Her genuine care for her neighbors has successfully fostered a kind neighborhood culture that everyone enjoys.

I lived at the Orchard Apartments for 4 years. We just moved out into a house, but I would like to leave a little note here to tell everyone how it went. First off, I got my deposit back in full. There were damages I pointed out, which they could have charged me for I believe but they did not. The manager was extremely kind and friendly whenever I spoke to her. And I should note that the general owner of the three apartment properties is also very kind who I first met when I lived out at the Cherry Lane apartments in 2006. This is well landscaped apt, freeway is right there and it has quite and nice sorrounding. i rate 5star because I live there for a year and I got 760$ deposit back when i move out they charge 40$ for basic cleaning maintenance. maintenance guys are awesome they always come on time to fix your concern, Susan (manager) is very helpful, the only thing I didnt like there is someone let there dogs to swim in pool and some outsiders asking for lockcode on laundry.

We are current (regretful) residents. Management is very rude. For example, when maintenance was painting the building they cut down our door decoration, threw it in the flowerbed, and spray painted over it. When we brought it up to management, she laughed and refused to do anything about it.
Their were many other things, this is just what happened today.
Do yourself a favor, learn from my mistake and look somewhere else.

As far as apartments in Tehachapi go these ones are nice. The grounds are really nice and if you commute out of tehachapi for work, the freeway entrance is right there. The price is reasonable, but a little high in my opinion. The apartments are on the smaller size, especially the kitchens. Most of the cabinets are too small for any pots and pans and there's no real space for the pantry foods. The appliances are good though. The apartment comes with a gas stove that really puts out the heat. The small backyard is a bonus if you have small pets. Rent payments are really easy now, they accept

The Orchard apartments have wonderfully landscaped grounds, lots of parking, and are very convenient to the freeway. The office staff, Diane and Melody couldn't have been nicer to me when I was looking for a place to stay. They were good about contacting me, the paperwork was quick and I am delighted with the spacious, clean, well furnished apartment I have. The prices are very reasonable and the few requests I have made have been handled quickly and professionally. Bob, who is the after hours go-to guy is very friendly and professional.
