Services
Casimir Kocot Salon has been in business for 20 years under the ownership of stylist Terri Kocot. Terri has been a stylist for more than 30 years and has received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. At Casimir Kocot Salon you will receive our 100% attention and privacy at our boutique style salon which includes individual treatment rooms for each service.
To ensure that your hair looks its best, we use some of the best quality, name-brand hair products on the market. One such product is Keratin Complex by Coppola, which treats frizzy, curly, damaged, or unmanageable hair, leaving it silkier, frizz free, shiny, and more manageable. We also stock a line of products for you to purchase so that you can maintain your hair in-between visits.
After a long day or week at work, treat yourself to relaxing manicures and pedicures at Casimir Kocot Salon in Amherst, Massachusetts. All our nail services are provided by Elaine, our expert nail technician. Our classic manicure is perfect for those who want to their nails to look fabulous, without all the extra frills.

INACCESSIBLE FOR AUTISTS. Expecting the general public to have higher skills than YOU do just to access your business is discriminating against those in the general public who do not possess the capabilities to solve your issues that you yourself cannot even solve for your clients to access you.
That is what makes you a non-fit for any client, not just those with neuro differences.
Your clients do not serve you. You are a business open to the public, you are supposed to be accessible to all. Your business is not.

Terri is the best stylist I have ever had. She listens to what you are looking for and uses high quality products. I always feel great after leaving the salon. She is professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The salon is always clean and I feel safe with all of the safety and sanitary protocols she follows (during this time of Covid). Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
$57 for an uneven, almost hour and a half, hair cut that you have to stand up for if your hair is ‘too long’. Hair detangler would’ve prevented every brush stroke pulling my not even sensitive head. The haircut was worth half the price, if that. Won’t be going back!

A little hard to find (the sign out front is small), but worth it. I received a warm welcome, and a fabulous pedicure. I booked online (really easy), and purchased the Ultimate Pedicure. At $55, it's a reasonable price for an excellent service. With the Ultimate, you get a choice of a cooling mint treatment or a hydrating paraffin treatment. I chose the paraffin, which I always enjoy. They do it here as a wrap, and I liked that. The color selection was good, and I am very pleased with the results. Elaine does all the nails, so you'll get the space to yourself. She does a great job!

I have finally found my Amherst stylist after a year and a half of looking! I had a haircut with Lance today and I couldn't be happier with it. He not only had great ideas for what would look good on me, but also had some helpful tips for easy things I can do with my hair. I'll definitely be going back!
