Super disorganized. Lost my bus keys TWICE in 6 weeks. And they don't have spare keys for their buses!

I am new to Lake Country Transportation and this will be my fifth year driving SPED school bus. Last week I was able to work with LCT for the first time. They were organized, professional, tech savvy, kind and fun! I heard “thank you” a lot in my first week which is so important to feel appreciated! There is a warm and positive feel at LCT. I’ve been in contact with numerous staff through email and texting and they have been responsive and transparent which is so important in an employer. They have excellent pay $22-$26/hr for bus drivers, $19/hr for bus aides and $18/hr for van drivers.

After a 40 year corporate career I started driving a school bus. I love the kids, enjoy the freedom of a route that seems different every day, and look forward to my time off during school breaks. Lake Country is a young, energetic company that shows a high regard for their employees, emphasizes safety, and is flexible and creative in providing transportation services to their customers. I’ve worked for some great companies throughout my career, and Lake Country is one of the best!

I have worked for a few bus companies in my 35+ yrs of driving school buses. This is the best ever. Technology and wages beat other companies hands down .Top pay of $24.50 plus you are paid OT after 40hrs. This is unheard of in the industry.
