It is easy to fall in love with natural wooded surroundings found in the hills of Nissequogue. Dense woods provide the privacy and seclusion offered by the large properties. Over time some of these residences find themselves in need of transformation. An update into modern living. One such property was facing that very challenge.
In the classic village of Huntington, NY many historical homes can be found. Families that have been in the community have done so for years, even generations. One such home can be found on Dewey Street. With the purchase of the corner lot next to the home of her mother, the next generation of residents was secure.
When the new homeowners of this Huntington, NY property first came to the site they fell in love with the area for its wooded setting. With subtle changes in elevation and open park-like lawn areas, the property offered lots of potential. After extensive rehabilitation to the landscape, it was time to create a space that reflected the true nature of why they had chosen this the property in the first place.

Terrible experience with Metamorphasis. I was looking for a simple estimate on getting pavers in my backyard. They came to look at it over the summer and said the estimate would take about two weeks. After about a month I followed up and they said they were still working on it. Then another month goes by so I followed up again and they said they… were no longer doing the projects I was requesting basically because they had bigger projects that took priority. I understand it gets busy but they strung me along for TWO MONTHS which I thought was very unfair.

I cannot recommend this company enough. Metamorphosis Landscape and Design (Jason Merz). Amazing customer service and professionalism; estimate was accurate and within our expectations, Jason was sure to keep… us informed as we changed designs as the cost was certainly a factor; design was very important to us, and Jason worked us to get the ideas in our minds onto paper and installed. Not 100% done yet (lighting/plantings); looking forward to completing our project this Spring. We are so very happy with their execution. If you have future plans, definitely reach to them you will not be

Had someone come out to discuss ideas and estimates. The person that came out could not have been any less interested. Walked around the yard and didn't offer much in the way of suggestions or options. He told me I would be contacted by someone in a few days to discuss options. Never heard from anyone.

Easy to work with, quality results, responsive to our last minute change in plans, and professional !!!! After designing and planning the estimate is exactly what you pay (or less). Any change in plans delt with very professionally and no "hidden costs"!!! My wife and I expect perfection with our home projects and Metamorphesis delivered!!! We continue to use the fir our hardscape and softscape. Recommend them highly without any reservations !!!
