If you need a Will or more complex Estate Planning, Eric Junker works with you to provide a comprehensive estate plan that ensures that your property goes where you want it with and your loved ones will not have to suffer through endless legal hassles after you are gone. It happens that due to age, injury or illness a loved one has lost the ability to manage their daily affairs and/or take care of themselves physically.
Estate planning is an important process for everyone, but especially for parents of special needs children. Things that must be considered in the estate plan will be different for every family depending on the age and abilities of the special needs child, all parents should aim to ensure that their estates help to maintain the day to day life of their child.
A will is often the first and only thing someone thinks of when planning an estate. It is the cornerstone of any estate plan. The main purpose of a will is to disburse property after your death. If you don't leave a will, disbursements will be made according to Texas state law, which might not be what you would want.
A living trust (also known as an inter vivos trust) is a separate legal entity you create to own property, such as your home or investments. The trust is called a living trust because it's meant to function while you're alive. You control the property in the trust, and, whenever you wish, you can change the trust terms, transfer property in and out of the trust, or end the trust altogether.
An advanced medical directive to physicians, commonly known as the living will lets others know what medical treatment you would want in the event that you are facing a terminal or irreversible condition. At the time you sign a living will, you choose how you wish the doctors to act in these situations in the event you can't express your wishes yourself.

I first called Eric because we needed to prepare a will. I picked this firm over all the other firms in the area because of his reputation. What I liked most about Eric was he was very efficient, and he made recommendations on matters that we hadn't even thought of. In the end, we have a will that suits our needs and sets our minds at ease. Now we have piece of mind knowing that if something happens to us our family will be taken care of.

We moved into Texas and needed to convert our trust for Texas law. I searched the internet and spoke with neighbors finding attorney Junker located in Richmond with very high recommends. Eric was extremely accommodating, personable and most importantly knowledgeable on Texas law. He resolved our issue rather quickly and at a very reasonable fee. We recommend him highly if you are searching for an attorney interested in you and your welfare.

Eric Junker (Junker Law, PLLC) effectively and efficiently represented our family in obtaining legal guardianship for our special-needs son with the Fort Bend County Court at Law 3.
The entire process was clearly explained to us, and we could not be more pleased with the outcome of our hearing.
We highly recommend this law firm for any matter involving legal guardianship.

We worked with Junker Law for estate planning and to get guardianship for our special needs adult son. Our choice was based on attending a guardianship seminar for Fort Bend County. Mr. Junker was one of the volunteer panelists, and his explanation of the legal terms and steps made us feel very comfortable with his level of expertise.
Mr. Junker was so helpful it feels weird calling him "mister". He patiently answered all of our questions, and made it easy to walk through our estate planning process. His estate planning questionnaire quickly drew out the salient details of our needs and streamlined

I have been using Mr Junker for the last 6 years. A chance meeting at a shop about guitars, one of his passions, turned into a very productive business relationship. Eric has settled two estates as well as setting wills, POA's and advanced directives for me and my extended family. I was so impressed with his work that he also represents my business in matter with the State of Texas. In my line of work, we are required to have a lawyer on retainer and file regulatory info, and Eric has handled all of this without any issues. His firm is small, but I have not had any experience that would make

Eric did a great job getting our will and medical information done.
The process was simplified because Eric was great. He thought of everything that we hadn't considered.
We are so grateful that we chose this firm. If we need any legal assistance in the future, we definitely will be going back. Thanks Eric!!!!

Used him for Guardianship. Didn't get any response to my email after the final payment was made so that didn't sit too well with me. It was filed in Feb but didn't get a court date until the end of June so there's no urgency there with the court or anyone else. I was told that 5 letters of Guardianship was ordered to be mailed to me and still have not seen any as of today July 30. This is another thorn I have for lawyers in general.
