When I moved to Monroe in 2015 and took over the position as pastor at First Church of God I started using Westwood Dental as my dentist. Westwood Dental has been voluntarily supplying toothbrushes and toothpaste to the First Church of God for their extra blessings Ministry for a number of years. They have a very confident and excellent staff and if I could give them a rating above 5.
Here at Westwood Dental, PC, we love meeting new patients. Part of easing your concerns is explaining what you can expect from our practice. When you are new to our office, we put in the effort to provide you with a positive and comforting experience. Once you have been with us for a while, you can continue to expect the highest level of service.
At Westwood Dental we understand the concern for our patient's out-of-pocket expense. We accept traditional insurance plans as well as the PPO plans listed below. I have been a patient since the early 80s and I had a bill of 68.70 that went to collections and now they refuse to treat me or my children, whom have been patients all they're lives, ever again. They obviously care more about their money than their patients!!! What a shameful way to treat your community and those who have supported you and your business their whole lives! If I would have known I would have paid it.

My experience has been a great one. I have never had an unreasonable wait time. Linda is down-to-earth & friendly and was very patient with me. Dr. Alex was also pleasant to interact with. Honestly, I have never experienced anyone in the office who was not friendly, though I have only interacted with a few of the people who work there. They were also willing to work with me on an outstanding bill that I have with them, which is not something I had experienced with my previous dentist's office, which is why I decided it was time to switch. All-in-all, a great experience!

DO NOT GO TO WESTWOOD DENTAL ...
I contacted these folks a month before mine and my wife's appointment. Today, we were supposed to have our very first appointment starting at 11am. When we arrived we were told that there was no appointment in the computer for us. When I originally called, I gave them ALL of our information, insurance information and set the appointment at that time. I put the appointment on my calendar on my phone and today we went for that appointment.
After being told we have no appointment, we were also told that we would have to reschedule for another time and date

We have been coming to Westwood dental for 11 years! We have always had positive experiences, my kids had to have a lot of work done and Dr. J and the staff have always gone above and beyond to make the kids and us feel comfortable! We moved out of Monroe County and we wouldn’t even dream of changing our Dentist. There is something to be said for an amazing dental experience!

Wonderful experience! took my 5 year old in today. called this morning they got me an apt for same day this afternoon. Alex did great and she had a very small cavity he filled it on the spot and didnt use the… silver crud he used a white fill so it doesnt even look like she had any work done! very impressed with the entire office, staff, and overall great experience!
