Services
Horizon Rehabilitation Center's beginnings date back to January of 2000 when the practice was founded by Troy and Tammy Roehrs. Originally specializing in spine rehabilitation, Horizon Rehab has grown over the years to service patients in Nebraska and Iowa by offering individualized physical therapy services to treat a variety of diagnoses and population types.
As a full-service rehab and physical therapy practice, Horizon Rehab offers patients individualized care through a variety of services. Our physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and other support staff offer care for those who are rehabbing from an injury, as well as services for spine rehabilitation, neurological rehab, pain management and more.
I am so pleased with how much Troy and Ben have helped me. It's nice to feel good again. I highly recommend Horizon to everyone and will definitely come back if I have a need for more therapy. I have seen Troy for 3 different problems, the most recent a torn meniscus, and prior to that, my back. Troy is a highly skilled, competent, and experienced therapist.
Horizon Rehabilitation Centers strives to make therapy accessible for all patients. While we have four locations, three in Nebraska and one in Iowa, many of our patients live in rural communities. For many of those patients, making regular trips into our office to receive a consult or complete a physical therapy session can be difficult.
As a provider focused on preventing injuries for our patients, Horizon Rehab also provides services to help ensure people don't get hurt on the job. Our occupational care services are offered as a way to help employers hire the right workforce, prevent work-related injuries, and get injured employees back to work faster.

It amazes me as a patient with multiple sclerosis that the therapists here are trained and so well educated to my specific needs. The therapists here understand the problems I face specific to MS and are able to fine tune my treatment. The care I have received is top notch and I would definitely recommend Horizon Rehabilitation!

Every time I come in for my appointment, I always feel comfortable and like i’m getting better. My physical therapist not only is extremely helpful during my session but gives me great advice to follow outside of the building to start improving on my own. The place itself is very nice and welcoming. Overall great experience!

What an awesome group of rehab professionals!!! Everyone at Horizon is kind, compassionate, AND highly skilled and knowledgeable. I went to them having had MS for over 25 years and a recent total hip replacement. Mandy's expertise in both areas (neurological disorders and orthopedic rehabilitation) inspired total confidence in me and is largely responsible for me successfully walking today.

I love everyone at the prairie hills location! Sue and Nicole are always so nice and friendly and grant is great. The location on 90th street I had a good experience with Troy, but the front desk lady Michelle is extremely rude. I had the wrong time written down, so I missed my appointment. I apologized over and over and all she said was "ok. Well we can't get you in today". Also I arrived at my appointment a previous time, and she was on a personal call for over ten minutes and so I had to wait forever to get checked in, therefore causing my appointment to get cut short.
