We provide high-quality martial arts class including Kids / Teen / Adult / Family exciting program. Master is an accomplished Master of Taekwondo, who has over 15 years of diverse experience in practicing and teaching Taekwondo. After receiving his First Degree Black Belt in 1995, Master has dedicated himself to teaching and spreading the way of Taekwondo.
In 2010, Master served as a Martial Arts Instructor for US Military Forces in Afghanistan, and subsequently came to America where he has assisted Grand Master Oh in all aspects of managing the day-to-day operation of Triumph Taekwondo Dojang in Pearl River, NY. Master believes in the importance of treating all members of Taekwondo family with respect and professionalism, whether instructors, assistants, students, or the families of the students.

Services
Ramsey Taekwondo provides toddlers an exciting introduction to taekwondo with age-appropriate activities in an encouraging and nurturing environment. All classes are conducted in a clean and safe indoor studio by instructors who have an extensive experience in working with toddlers. Instructors often incorporate fun games into the class, in addition to introducing toddlers to the foundations of Taekwondo motions and philosophy.

Our 6 year old son has been going to weekly classes at Ramsey TaeKwonDo for over 2 years now and we love it. Master Kim is an excellent instructor who teaches patience, honesty, respect and discipline along with TaeKwonDo while having a fun class. The classes are small, coed and grouped according to age as well as skill levels. There is ample individual time for each student during class. Over the 2 years our son has moved up 2 belts, recently earning his Orange belt. The belts are truly EARNED through practice and testing......they are not given out. I highly recommend Ramsey TaeKwonDo to any

Master Kim has an incredible gift for teaching children. My 5 year old son has been attending classes for the past month and has already learned so much. The kids are taught to listen, observe and be respectful in a fun and encouraging environment. I love that master Kim teaches life skills along with fabulous taekwando skills. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

My daughter has been going there since June and she really enjoys the class. Master Kim is motivating, encouraging, fun, and kind. It is a great place to learn the values of honor, respect, integrity and self-confidence. I love how Master Kim motivates my daughter and I can definitely see she has gained in confidence. My daughter and I both take classes and we are very grateful for what we have accomplished with Master Kim’s guidance. Master Kim helps students of all ages in developing self-discipline, character, and respect for both oneself and others. He invests in monitoring student progress and tailors his class instruction to ensure ongoing success. Master Kim is caring and always looking out for the best interests of his students. A fantastic place to learn martial arts!! My son have been here > 3 years starting as a white belt and now a black belt. I started a year later and am a red/black belt now (1 step away from black). Master Kim is such a nice human being and a fantastic teacher. It is more like a family for us now.

My 3 sons (5,9 and 11 y/o) are going to Ramsey Taekwondo. My older kids have gone to several different taekwondo schools in the past and they absolutely love Ramsey Taekwondo the best! Master Kim is very kind, patient, funny, and has been encouraging my boys to get better. I can tell that their level of confidence has increased since they started to go RTK. I would recommend this place to anyone who are interested you or your kids in learning authentic Korean Taekwondo in fun environment.

My daughter expressed interest as we were walking by one day. Master Kim invited her in to watch the class and even to participate a bit. That welcoming atmosphere is always present and she has been a fixture there since. The quality of instruction is great - age appropriate but also individual appropriate. Master Kim is a wonderful teacher and mentor. The students are so comfortable with him, but he is still able to teach them about respect and discipline aside from just the skills and forms.

My son has been attending Ramsey Taekwondo since January 2020, he has blossomed from attending classes with Master Kim. Master Kim works at each child’s individual level and is always encouraging. His is very flexible and communicative. I would definitely recommend Ramsey Taekwondo to anyone (child or parent) who would love to learn this beautiful Martial Art.

Highly recommend this place! Master Kim is a highly skilled Tae Kwon Do teacher and a nice human being ! My 8 year old loves learning Tae Kwon Do from Master Kim! I like the fact that He is focused on getting the technique right . He always has a smile on his face and makes the class a fun place to be in . My wife and I love watching the class ! Very glad that we found this gem of a place!!
