California Coastal Rural Development Corporation (Cal Coastal) is a California chartered nonprofit public-benefit corporation servicing the financial needs of small businesses and farmers. The corporation provides direct loans and loan guarantees to businesses located on the Central Coast through our offices located in Salinas and Santa Maria.

We have a community based Board of Directors that guides the organization. The Board of Directors and Loan Committee members are business people and bankers with backgrounds in credit. Cal Coastal funds these specialized lending facilities allowing their clients the ability to grow their businesses.

It now operates in both SLO and SB Counties. The cafe offers a high-quality, fast-casual Cuban dining experience where patrons can get the Cuban food they have come to love in a more traditional setting. Sharing Arqui's cultural heritage with the local community through authentic Cuban cuisine has been an American dream come true!
California Coastal Rural Development Corporation (Cal Coastal), a nonprofit corporation operates much like a commercial lender. We have the ability to provide direct loans and guarantee bank loans. We currently operate seven loan programs to provide financing for businesses and farms located in our lending foot print.
The US Small Business Administration's 504 Loan Program, also known as the Certified Development Company Program, provides affordable long term, fixed-rate financing to help healthy, expanding small and medium sized businesses grow. The loans are for acquiring long-term fixed- assets, such as land, buildings, machinery and equipment, or for building modernizing, renovating, or greening facilities.
Operating capital and mortgage loans to family farms eligible for a U.S.D.A. Farm Service Agency (FSA) guarantee. Crop production, harvest costs, farm ownership, farm improvements or equipment acquisition. Variable rates tied to National indices on production loans. Rates on farm ownership and term loans are also tied to National indices but can reset every 5 years.
