This store has evolved wonderfully over the years. It will be a different shopping experience then something like JCPenney's or Forever 21. Let the owner take your measurements and try on clothes that are your size, don't expect anything to stretch. With those expectations I think the prices are reflective of quality. You'll be doing honor to your grandmother's generation by keeping these pieces in use.

We purchased several items here, and really enjoyed the selection. However, the person working at the store seemed to go out of her way to make us feel unwelcome.
Unlike others who have experienced a brisk interaction with the sales team, I did not ask to try anything on before purchasing.
I restore and resize vintage clothing as a hobby and a side job, so am aware of the delicate nature of sizing and clothing from the time periods being presented.
After I explained that I understood the sizing and did not need assistance, she continued to not allow me more than two minutes without inquiring

This is the best vintage shop I’ve ever been to— I’ve been to many on the west coast & this rises above! MVC is wonderfully curated with an attentive touch. Each piece I’ve purchased here is an absolute favorite. Priced SO fairly, I’m continually impressed with the affordability. The owner, Sherry, and her little dog are the sweetest!

Staff at least to me were very unfriendly, they are very insensitive about sizing. I understand that the clothes are old, but that doesn’t give you the right to say that you can’t try something in because it’s a 30 and your a 31 and then take it out of your hands and put it back on the rack. They have pretty nice clothing though

I have been shopping at Montana Vintage Clothing for over ten years and it has always been a delightful experience. Sherry, the owner, is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to vintage. She provides an inviting experience for her customers and the staff is always personable and attentive. Wow! What a gem in Billings. Definitely one of the best vintage shops I've ever seen including New York and San Francisco.
We stopped in after breakfast at the Sassy Biscuit. The staff was really friendly and we were greeted by the shop dog, Marley, a very friendly Shitzu.
My 2-year-old daughter immediately started wreaking havoc and instead of making us feel guilty the staff pulled out a basket of vintage toys for her to play with.
I wish I had more time to shop. They have an amazing selection of children's clothes, hats, purses, and leather jackets. I'm definitely cool back

After visiting the Sassy Biscuit which is located across the street, my sister and I decided to visit this fun antique shop. We were enjoying the many style quirks of the past few decades when a blonde lady approached us which at first, seemed welcoming. We ventured to look at the jewelry and she offered to pull the tray out for us. The rings were about $10 - $20 but nothing really stood out so we moved on to the next antique articles. The lady then politely asked if we were finished looking at the rings and we responded with a yes. We decided to visit the Antique shop next door where we were put

Very cool vibe walking in. I was excited. Girl in hat greeted me to tell me about sale. Nice because prices were kind of ridiculous. I was digging and digging looking for treasures. I came across an area by dressing rooms and started looking through things. I figured these were articles that didn't work out for other customers. But no, I was advised by girl in hat that those were being prepared for their website. So be prepared if you see something you like you might not be able to look st it. Really? They would rather process and ship versus CASH? Not cool. Left empty handed. Will not

I recently went into Montana Vintage Clothing after driving passed it for a few years. The selection is impressive and the store well organized. The owner (?) of the store greeted me with a smile and directed me to the shoes. However, I was a bit uncomfortable when I made my way to the clothing and I saw the owner (?) continuously glance over at me. She requested I put one dress back because she did not believe it was my size. At the time, the encounter was a bit embarrassing for me, but looking back on it, it is understandable. This is her business and

I have been going to Montana Vintage for nearly 15 years at its various locations in Billings. Sherry, the owner, is wonderful, as are all of her employees. Have they helped me with sizing, yes, they have, and it has never been offensive or intrusive, but truly helpful. They have helped me find many valuable, beautiful pieces. I live in Denver and have not found anything comparable in price, service, and beauty since living here for the last 8 years. Montana Vintage is one of the top reasons I love going home to Billings. Well done Sherry and Team!! I can't wait to return!

This place is incredibly hip and surprisingly low in price. We visit it every time we come to Billings. And, don't tell my family, but this store is half our reason for going back home (the other half being family).
If it were in Portland or Denver they would be making a killing. Props to them for making Billings, Montana a much cooler city.

I've never been and will never go. I had friends visiting from out-of-town and one of them went to Montana Vintage. My friends are very nice and polite. One of the employees there would not let my female friend try on a dress because she thought she was a size too big for the dress. My friends and other people in the store left in disgust. Very disappointing. You think a place with the name "Montana" would have nicer people working at it. Guess they're just hipsters that think they're too cool.
