Bill Skinner, DDS, is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to his neighbors in Urbandale and the surrounding communities. Dr. Skinner attended Luther College for his undergraduate education and was accepted early to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he obtained his dental degree.

Tea and coffee are safe to drink in moderation. However, over time, large amounts can cause staining and damage. In addition to caffeine, tea and coffee contain chromogens, deeply pigmented molecules that adhere to dental enamel. They also contain tannins, which boost a chromogen molecule's ability to attach to dental enamel.
You can fill out these comfortably and at your own pace at home. Then when you arrive for your visit, you'll be all ready to go, saving time and ensuring you didn't forget anything important. When I moved to West Des Moines from Nebraska a few years ago i was clueless about who to go to for my dental work.One day while driving down Hickman I noticed this nice looking building that had a sign saying "Solace Dental" so i stopped in and visited with Karen at the front desk for awhile.Karen proceeded to a set me up with an initial appointment with Dr. Skinner. I figure I hit a home run when i chose the team at Solace Dental for my dental needs.I highly recommend Solace Dental!

Only had to have xray and exam today but my overall experience was great. Called this morning because of a tooth that broke overnight and they got me right in. The staff was very friendly and professional. I scheduled an appointment for my treatment of the broken tooth. I would recommend this place for sure.

Amazing experience during a time of need. My former dentist, left me feeling very nervous and scared to seek dental care again.
