Have you ever wondered "how is bail set?" You might be familiar with the process of releasing arrestees from jail during the time before a trial, but the decision on the amount of money can seem like a complete mystery. Once an Austin magistrate makes a decision on the sum needed for release, it's important to work with a reputable bondsman to free your loved one.
While most people don't end up running afoul of the law in Austin or any other American city, it can only take an instance of misplaced paperwork to ensnare you in an ordeal that could affect the rest of your life. No matter if a judge has issued a bench warrant for your arrest over unpaid traffic tickets or a missed court date, you'll end up spending a night or two in jail while you wait for your time in court.
Once you've been arrested in Austin, the gears of the criminal justice system immediately start to turn in your case, but you could be left behind bars without the assistance of a bail bondsman. Austin Bail Bonds can ensure you're back on your feet instead of languishing in a cell, but it's important to familiarize yourself with the procedure before we can help.
If you watch a lot of movies and television shows, you've probably seen people get bailed out of jail after an arrest, but have you ever wondered how that process works? Once a person is taken into police custody in Austin or other communities, the ensuing time can be stressful and humiliating, and it can be a welcome respite just to sleep in a familiar setting again.

I'm an attorney, and Austin Bail Bonds works hard for their clients and works well with the attorneys representing mutual clients.

This business is disreputable and dishonest. I was given the run around for three days when trying to bond a friend out of jail after already paying the required amount. I was then told that the bond could not be posted and subsequently charged two hundred dollars for “the hassle”. To be fair, this is stated in the fine print, but no services were provided that should have been paid for. I was then told I had to drive to the office in order to receive a refund. (I live an hour and a half away.) Upon driving there I was met with an incredible amount of attitude from the secretary AND the owner
