Dr. Luke Cusimano, FACS, a plastic, and reconstructive surgeon is highly skilled in plastic surgery procedures of the breast, body, and face, as well as in breast reconstruction. He completed his undergraduate education at Louisiana State University and earned his M.D. at the American University of the Caribbean.
An arm lift, also known as brachioplasty, is a procedure done to reshape the upper arm to tighten lax skin and remove fat that can cause a "bat wing" appearance under the arm. As of October, 2021, I have had two surgeries and a couple of procedures performed by Dr. Cusimano. These are post-mastectomy reconstruction surgeries. I won't pretend that these surgeries are "painless" because they are painful, but manageable with pain medications. I expected the pain.
The results have been amazing! Somehow, Dr. Cusimano has made me look like a normal woman again, with a nice pair of breasts that I enjoyed having for a lifetime. Dr. Cusimano and his staff were amazing, professional and showed genuine care. Going to into surgery I had some anxiety but Katie the Registered Nurse held my hand right before I went under anesthesia(I’m a big baby I know🤣) My breast augmentation went perfect. Dr. Cusimano did the best job! My expectations were exceeded and my scarring even 2 weeks later are minimal despite me being African American in which I was worried about. So now I have my swimsuit body. All in all Dr. Cusimano is your go to guy for quality work, genuine care and great results!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the first visit I knew I was in great hands. Everyone there is courteous and professional and puts the needs of their patients first. Dr. Cusimano did an amazing job with my surgery and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My only regret-I wish I would’ve done this sooner! Katie (RN) is the absolute best. Dr. Cusimano is a very skilled surgeon. He corrected a procedure from a previous surgeon and the results are better than I could have ever imagined. I was very comfortable, as he truly listened to what I wanted and educated me along the way. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable while making you feel at home. From consult all the way to follow-ups I have been totally happy. And, one of my favorite things about the whole experience is the honesty and integrity of Dr. Cusimano—he really cares about giving you the best result based on what you want, and the quality of his work shows
