I am a Licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of post doctoral experience providing psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and couples in a broad range of issues including, but not limited to depression and anxiety, self esteem, health related issues, life transitions, eating disorders, and relationship issues.
I also work with parents around a number of different parenting issues including ADHD and in cases of difficult divorces, around co-parenting issues. Seeking professional help for a personal problem for yourself or your child can be anxiety-provoking. Within a supportive and empathic environment, you will be able to feel comfortable opening up about your problems and explore solutions.

Services
My PhD in Psychology is from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. I completed my post-doctoral training at the University of Utah in Pediatric Psychology and Inpatient Psychiatry. I have worked in a wide range of settings including schools, community mental health centers, clinics, and pediatric medical settings.
For the past thirty years I have worked with children, adolescents, and their parents, not only with the day-to-day issues of raising children, but also with severe behavior problems, children with special needs, step-parenting, and grandparents raising grandchildren. I also have formal training in Pediatric Psychology working with children and adolescents with chronic illness and pain as well as with children who have serve behavioral problems.
Many children are referred to me because parents, teachers or their doctor would like to have them "tested" for ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Children who are seen as having ADHD may be inattentive in class, easily distracted, disorganized in their approach to tasks, or forgetful.
When working with adolescents, I demonstrate respect for their situation, ensure that they have a clear understanding of condentiality issues and explore their personal goals for treatment. Building a trusting relationship is paramount in the therapeutic process, so that clients can feel comfortable expressing themselves, and sharing about personal issues.
