A not-for-profit Liberty Lutheran senior living community incorporated by Lutheran Retirement Homes, Inc., Artman opened its doors in 1916. Today, Artman offers residents a comfortable setting with many different room styles, from studios to deluxe suites and private rooms. Our specially trained staff provides individualized health care while encouraging the highest levels of independence.
The Becoming Center at Artman is a health and wellness community that is open to the public. A fully equipped exercise room, a heated pool, and massage therapy areas are just some of the many amenities you will find at the Becoming Center. In addition, on-site physical therapists, nutritionists and trainers are available to assist in the rehabilitation of injuries or with personal training programs.
If you need long-term care, your 24-hour nursing care will be coordinated with your physician. Our staff follows an individualized care plan and conducts ongoing health assessments. You are encouraged to participate in our recreational activities and religious services, and may also receive counseling from our chaplain and social workers.
As a short-term rehabilitation patient, you will receive the therapy prescribed by your physician and coordinated with him or her. These rehabilitation therapies may include Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or IV Therapy. Our staff will assess your progress and discuss your medical and discharge needs with you, so you will know exactly what to anticipate.
