Services
Willowood Acres Veterinary Clinic has been providing high quality veterinary care to cats and dogs in Romulus and the surrounding communities since 1983. Our veterinarians offer preventive care, wellness exams and services for kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. Diagnostic imaging allows our veterinarians to look at your pet internally for clues about sickness or injury.
Let Willowood Acres Veterinary Clinic provide professional care for your kitten, puppy, cat, or dog. A physical exam is the smartest and easiest way to keep your pet healthy. Wellness exams allow our veterinarians to detect problems and diseases that might go undiscovered otherwise, including heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues and allergies.
At Willowood Acres Veterinary Clinic, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets. Diagnostic imaging allows us to examine your pet's internal organs and body systems to better diagnose their conditions.
Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health. When oral hygiene is neglected, pets can develop dental disease which negatively affects other systems in the body and may lead to tooth loss. A pet's dental health is just as important as their physical health, however, it often goes overlooked.
Willowood Acres Veterinary Clinic provides veterinary surgical care and services for cats and dogs. Using state-of-the-art equipment and an experienced team, we'll provide your pet with high-quality surgery in a safe, stress-free and relaxing environment. Our team of skilled veterinarians and technicians are ready to provide your pet with a range of surgeries.

Dr Szoshok is a very good vet but the office staff are very rude. The other vet isn't as thorough and is curt and rude. You, also, cannot go inside at all. They come out to get your pet and you have to tell them if you have any concerns. You have no idea what happens to your pet as you wait outside. The Dr calls you on your cell to go over anything. The staff are rude and will keep you waiting extra long if you call them thinking they had forgotten you. Then they tell you they'll be out as soon as they get your bill together AND bring out your pet. Our pet had already been brought out 15 minutes

Not very happy with them right now. They have been our vet for many years. Our dog was attacked by bees a short time ago. I called to get him in and they told me they would give me a phone number to call for emergency services. Thing is, they are listed as a emergency vet and still had nearly 2 hours before closing time. Don’t call them if you need them for anything like that!

I just took my 3 cats to this clinic and I am so happy with this place! They still have curbside pickup for your pets and I knew as soon as I met them, that they were in good hands! I can't even explain how wonderful they were. Maddie and Brenna were so kind and explained everything they did to make my cats more relaxed inside. Literally took care of them above and beyond what they needed to. The Doctor called a few times to explain things and Sue from the front desk called to go over the bill and she is so sweet too. All of my fur babies will be going here from now on.

Positive: Professionalism, Reliability, Responsiveness
Very caring staff who communicate everything and always offer options before proceeding. They quickly made me an appointment a couple hours after I called to fix a mistake that a different veterinary office caused. This place makes owners feel comfortable and always take good care of our pets.

These people at this clinic are THE ABSUTE BEST! My dog had a swollen not over her eye , we had no idea what it was, I called this clinic, they got her in almost immediately (they're not her regular vet) the day she went we were so scared he face was so swollen 1 eye was closed, turns out she was bit by either a neighbor dog or wild animal, but they fixed her up, they were kind ,sweet ,and very caring! They're now her new doctor! I absolutely recommend them!
