Services
Young at Heart understands the importance of early childhood education. Our center offers age- appropriate programming with individualized curriculum for each developmental stage-infants through preschool. All our teachers are dedicated to promoting creativity, curiosity, imagination, discovery and using consistent praise and encouragement for each child.
The people caring for your child are early childhood professionals. Striving to continually improve the quality of early childhood education, Young at Heart Center exceeds Illinois Licensing standards. Every employee is required to continue their education each year by attending early childhood-based classes, educational in-services, and C.P.R./ first aid training for all age groups.
Young at Heart Center provides programs for children aged six weeks to six years. Our philosophy is based on providing a safe, nurturing learning environment. Allowing the children who enroll at Young at Heart to explore and expand on their own individual capabilities while introducing age appropriate curriculum and enriching programs, creates an amazing Center full of education, quality care and fun.
We celebrate every new milestone throughout the first year and tailor each program to meet your baby's individualized needs. Flexible, nurturing, and trained caregivers work closely with each family to help ease separation and the transition into childcare. Communication is a priority, which is why we have an open door policy.
As new physical and cognitive developments begin, Young at Heart supports the toddler years by filling each child's day with creative, active learning activities. The introduction of art, music, stories, puppets, sensory play, and many new physical activities keep young toddlers moving and learning.

If you are looking for a quality learning experience for your child in a safe and loving atmosphere then this is the place for your child. I can not say enough great things about this daycare facility. They are so loving, kind and truly love children. We are a military family and we struck gold when we found this place. Our son loves this school. This is his first full-time daycare experience and I was concerned that he would not like it, but his teachers in the two year old class, Mrs. Jen and Mrs. Kylie, have truly been amazing! He is always bring home art projects they have done in class and

SO lucky we found this place! I did read the previous reviews, and no, I'm not related to anyone at Young At Heart, that I know of. My hubby & I work in public schools, I'm in one of the top districts in the state, and we couldn't be happier with how are daughters are loved on, protected and educated. They are very organized and loving. When my youngest has a meltdown because she can't be with me, they do a great job of taking her, loving her, and playing with her so I can get to work. They are very easy to work with, and when my mom had to pick her up one day, they were very protective and made

Before we moved and needed to change daycares, my two kiddos went to Young @ Heart. I loved it there. The teachers and staff were friendly and bent over backwards to help us out. It breaks my heart to see negative reviews, but I would like everyone to know it's a safe place, with your children's best interest at heart.
Things I loved:
-HOT MEALS!! both breakfast and lunch. There are not many places that offer this.
-Friendly teachers who are interested in the parents as much as the kids. They communicate. I love that. It's also what was hard about leaving the facility. Also, side note: There

My daughter started when she was 1 year old and she loved it! The activities, sings, and read books. She learned a lot of songs from day care. All classes were clean, kid's restroom, locker, table and carpet. The teacher energetic. They reacted really fast when the flood came, they cleaned, sanitized and redo some classes. The day care was close to my previous company. Unfortunately, my daughter has to move because of we got a new job far from this location. She still remember the teachers' name and her friend at Young at Heart. Great experience, recommended, clean, food guarantee, a ton of activities

I would give 10 stars if possible! My daughter has been going to this daycare/preschool for the last 2 years. I wanted to share my wonderful experience on how happy and thankful I am with Young at Heart. When my daughter first arrived at the preschool she was only two years old and not even eating table food yet and the teachers went above and beyond to help her learn how to eat, chew and share with others. (I know for a fact many of the teachers have been there for years) The time and patience and loving care that they put in with their students shows every day . My daughter has become so advanced

Two of my children attended YAH. They were there for many years. I can not say enough about the staff there. They were kind, patient and loving to both of my children. My son was challenging at times and they were patient and helped him develop skills to manage his emotions. They did many activities with the kids and taught them all the skills they needed to be ready for kindergarten. They found ways to incorporate all different types of learning. I would definitely recommend this center. They educate the whole child, taking into consideration academic and social needs.

Take it from a Child Development Specialist, not only will Young at Heart provide your child with excellent care, but also foster your child's cognitive, physical and social-emotional development! As a Child Development Specialist I have had the opportunity to work with many child care centers around the Chicagoland region to support young children with different development delays and needs for over 20 years now. During that time I have provided training and support for teachers and directors of childcare centers on how to foster children's development and how to support children with developmental

We've been taking our son to Young At Heart (part time) for just over a year now, and have nothing but great things to say about our experience there.
Unlike other daycare centers we initially researched, Y@H features a small-scale atmosphere, but still manages to maintain a high level of activity and excellent curriculum for our son. Daily activities, arts & crafts, playtime and other social events are planned with care and wield a nice variety.
The staff are extremity friendly and go out of their way to make the children feel right at home; always greet us with a smile and warm "good morning

My son attended this daycare center for almost two years. All the teachers at this center are excellent. They are very caring and attentive and have a structured schedule for the children.
My son recently moved on to kindergarten knowing more than the average five year old. Not only do the teachers at this facility teach the children what they need to know for their kindergarten year, they teach them how to interact properly with other children. I would recommend this facility to anyone who has children that need to prepare for the future.
