My name is Carey Primeau and I'm a dedicated photographer focused on weddings and important events based out of Crystal Lake, IL.
I grew up in Chicago and moved to Crystal Lake in 2016. I've been photographing weddings for over 15 years and am constantly looking for ways to take my images to the next level. When I'm not photographing weddings, you can find me working at Susanin's Auction House in Chicago, hanging with my fam, hiking, figuring out how to spend more time in nature, and loving life!

His 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer provides comfort for the parents while his fine art background offers creative expression for the kids getting married. Carey attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and received a Bachelor's of Fine Art degree in photography, film, and electronic media (2007).

My husband and I used Carey for our engagement pictures in May 2016. We had such a fun time working with him that we decided to book him for our March 17th, 2018 wedding. My wedding guests raved about how “cool” Carey is. I was so excited when I received my pictures back. Carey captured beautiful personal moments between my husband and I, and also captured the fun and funny moments at the Church and reception.
