Christensen Prosthodontics (CrownDoc) was founded in 1976 by Dr. Gordon Christensen. Having spent the majority of his career in dental education, Dr. Gordon Christensen felt the natural next step would involve more time dedicated to patient care.
At approximately this same time, recognizing the need for an objective research-related voice in the dental field, Dr. Christensen and his wife, Dr. Rella Christensen, founded Clinical Research Associates (CRA now Christensen Report or CR).

In addition to our dental background, we feel the diversity of our outside interests allow us to relate well to our patients' needs on a friendly level. Seemingly since birth, Will has been involved in the dental field. As a youngster, he assisted his dental hygienist mother with patients. While in high school he trained in John Archibald's dental lab.
What is a "prosthodontist"? A prosthodontist is a dental specialist who has completed additional specialty training in the replacement/restoration of teeth beyond what is taught in dental school. Why should I choose a prosthodontist to perform my dental treatment? Due to their specialty training, prosthodontists are often more familiar with the unforeseen variables and treatment options for your dental situation.
