Services
GSM Industrial's heritage dates back to 1946, when Fred Gooding decided to pursue his dream of starting a roofing company. Bill Simpson soon joined the business venture. Fritz Mackes, a sheet metal mechanic, later joined the duo and the Gooding, Simpson & Mackes roofing company was born. The company established a small sheet metal division that was managed by Fritz until his passing in 1974.

Our skilled metal fabricators, welders, and tradesmen work their magic in our world-class metal fabrication facility located in Lancaster, PA.

GSM has designed and fabricated pressure vessels meeting ASME standards for over 30 years. This assures that design, fabrication, testing, and examination controls are performed using qualified procedures by qualified, certified personnel.
GSM Industrial takes safety seriously, and our safety rating proves it. When it comes to our employees and customers, the prevention of accidents and injuries is so important that a safe working environment takes precedence over productivity. GSM employs a full-time Safety Director. Jim McDevitt leads our OSHA construction safety courses and First Aid/CPR classes, and is extremely knowledgeable about fall protection safety and many other topics.
