I do not even know where to start. Dar is absolutely wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about her and her business. I came to Lucca Men's Clothing looking for custom suits for my wedding in 2021. The experience from the beginning was straight forward and you could tell she knew what she was doing. After my fitting, I knew for sure this was the place to have the rest of the suits made. I quickly got my father in law and groomsmen in for their fittings, which Dar easily accommodated. All of our suits turned out perfect. There were some minor adjustments that were fixed quickly and easily

I have a few weddings/events coming up, and thought it was time to get my first custom-made bespoke suit. Dar helped make the experience very enjoyable. Dar is professional, knowledgeable, & personable - and she did a phenomenal job on my navy blue suit. She was clear & transparent on price points & timelines, and she has continued to help with other items (appropriate shoes, measurements for dress shirts, etc.) well after receiving my suit. Can't recommend her enough - will definitely be going back down the road.

Working with Dar was my first time ordering a custom suit, and even though I walked in without much knowledge of the process, she was patient and took the time to explain each measurement before moving on to the next step. Dar even knew my waist size just by looking at me. The end product exceeded all of my expectations, and I can honestly say nothing else in my closet fits quite like the custom suit I ordered through Dar. I might not be in Madison for the rest of my life, but I do know that whenever I need custom clothing in the future, I will always be willing to make the return trip to Lucca

This was my first bespoke suit and Dar was very helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't know much about high quality suits but she was very patient and made sure that my suit was absolutely perfect for me. She went above and beyond to make sure that when I left I had the best suit possible for me. Absolutely excellent service! She even helped me go through which fabrics and colors were right for me to highlight my features and structure.

I got my wedding suit and shirt from Dar and have never had anything fit so perfectly! They look great and Dar definitely doesn't settle for "good enough." I've gotten several shirts fitted at other stores and none of those shirts have ever fit nearly as well- they were always a little too tight or too loose or baggy in one area, but the shirt I got from Lucca fits perfectly everywhere and is the most comfortable shirt I own. Setting up an appointment and getting 1:1 time is also such a better experience than a box store where a single person is bouncing between me and 2 other

From the second I set foot in Lucca Clothing's new and super convenient downtown location, I felt taken care of. Visits are by appointment only, allowing each visit to be tailored just to me. Best men's custom suit shop in the Madison area! Dar Boyer provides exceptional service and fittings. You can get fine Italian fabrics for a reasonable price. They also have a great selection of dress shirts and ties.
The casual clothing is hit or miss - some casual brands will appeal more to an older crowd (Tommy Bahama for a grandfather maybe), but they do carry a limited selection of Bugatchi shirts, one of my favorite brands.

What started as a nice morning meeting at crescendo on Monroe street to grab coffee with my dad before heading across the street to buy my fiancé his first Italian suit, ended abruptly as we walked in the door at Lucca. The woman was extremely rude to us. Told us that she didn't have time for us and that she didn't have anything that would fit my fiancé ( a 6 foot triathlete?) and basically to get out and make an appointment. We are well dressed and gracious people. This treatment was so over the top that I feel compelled to write my first ever Yelp review. I can't believe that

Dar's store is the best. She sells quality clothing that is well made and lasts a long time. If you wear a suit or sport coat every day this is the store for you. She also knows how to fit and alter clothing correctly so you get a perfect fit. Don't let the price scare you off. I have suits I bought years ago that wear like iron and still look great. Cheap men's store clothing is no value!
