Since our company was founded by Steve and Patti Moore in 1973, we have continued to adapt to the changing industry, adding new technologies and capabilities that allow us to better serve our clients. Now in our second generation of leadership, the one thing that has never changed is our insistence on putting our clients' interests at the forefront of every decision we make.
With General Contracting, often referred to as Design-Bid-Build, our estimating team will take plans and specifications provided by the owner's design team, and put together a competitive proposal. When awarded the project, J.L. Moore will contract all required subcontractors who are chosen based upon the specific project requirements.
In Design-Build, the owner contracts with one entity for both design and construction, providing a collaborative team approach from the beginning and providing the owner with a single responsible source for both design and construction. As Design-Builder we meet with the project owner to fully understand their project goals and requirements and assemble the right team based upon these parameters.
