My Mom went after a surgery to recover at the Lodge at Beat Creek. They have zero staff, dont change or wash the sheets, yell at patients and the physical therapist who came for 10 minutes over a 5 day stay said they had been bought out so many times she was unsure who is in charge or owns it. This place should be shut down. DO NOT send your loved ones.

My mother stayed her for all of 2 nights. Anytime I called her, she seemed frightened and uncomfortable. She has a history of prolonged seizures and they were aware of this. She had some confusion at the time too due to the condition she was in previously at the hospital. They also were aware of this before she was transferred there. When my sister and I called, she was using the bathroom so the nurse answered. She was helping my mom get back to bed and let me just say she did not sound friendly at all. Very demanding with what she was asking my weak mom. Also my mom was being nothing but nice

My 87 year old mother was in the Lodge at Bear Creek for 60 days after breaking her hip and having surgery. I was there almost daily. She was in a room on the first floor. We were both extremely pleased with the care she received. She had intensive therapy twice a day most days, 6 days a week, and was able to walk out with a walker when she left. The caregivers, nurses and therapists were wonderful to her, especially Angelina, Noella, Tamela, Agnes, Edna, Christine, Sarah, Doris, Denita,, jake, Lauren, Gel, Debbie, Sue (and Iā€™m probably leaving someone out!) Everything was kept very clean, her

I do not recommend this facility. They do not communicate well at all. Even though we had asked/told them multiple times to not let my mother with dementia make medical/financial decisions and refer to her POA they continued to let her without informing us. I had to beg for a care plan meeting and everything was so broad and not individualized at all. After asking every few days for a month about projected dismissal date we were given two days notice so had no warning to get things together. They could care less about what happened to my mother. My mother complained constantly about how disrespectful

I was at this facility for four days. The longest four days of my life. I was transferred to this facility from a hospital after my total knee replacement. After the ambulance attendants got me in my room and in bed, they left. I could not find a call button to call and ask for help getting to the restroom. After an hour, a lady identifying herself as the director of admissions came breezing in to my room with a sandwich and told me she was on her way out the door and would talk to me the next day. I stopped her and asked her where the call button was. She found it and told me good night. Some

They have the rudest nurse or attendant [Emily on first floor] I have met at a facility while I was trying to locate a patient to deliver them medical supplies. She was on the phone and got very aggressive toned with me when I was just asking if a patient was at the facility. I would love to never have to deal with her or her poor customer service skills again. I definitely wouldn't want my love one to live somewhere when the person who is supposed to care for them is making you feel like you're inconveniencing them by having them do their job. šŸ‘Ž

The Lodge at Bear Creek may be beneficial to some, but this was unfortunately not the case with my father. He has Congestive Heart Failure and has been weakened from several recent hospitalizations due to fluid retention. He was advised to go into the Lodge for physical therapy to regain his strength before returning home. However, his condition requires daily flexibility with his medication; he has days when he needs to increase his dosage, according to how much fluid he retains. The dr at The Lodge immediately took over his medications, and (without having seen my father-and against the instructions

My mother was here in rehab for 2 mos. She had the best care from aides! They are so caring, thoughtful, patient, understanding and just wonderful. Ella at the reception desk is so friendly and bubbly when you first walk in. Please don't ever lose her! Last week my mother moved into Dancing River Assisted Living, which is right behind The Lodge at Bear Creek. Since then some of the aides have called to check up on her and also a few of them visited her. They told my mother they missed her and jumped into bed with her. You can't ask for a more caring environment.

My mother had a brief stay at the Lodge at Bear Creek several weeks ago. I was very lucky to have found it. The staff was friendly, helpful, watchful and knowledgeable. If I needed anything they were right there. The nurses and physical therapy people were always around. The administration also made it as easy as possible to get her in and take care of things. The place itself is beautiful. Scrupulously clean! And the food was absolutely delicious. It was more like food at a nice restaurant than food in a healthcare place. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a great experience for me
