It was in 2006, while on vacation in Northern California, that we happened to stumble across an off-grid community powered by solar. This sparked the question, "Why don't we see more solar in Yuma, AZ, the sunniest city in the world?"
It was then that our family's next generation decided it was time to start saving the world one roof at a time. Our company decided to expand in our hometown as Yuma Solar. We have formally trained at the Solar Living Institute in Hopland, CA and continue our certifications to stay on top of the fast growing solar and battery technologies.

Yuma Solar offers a variety of services to meet the needs of residential and commercial customers as well as roofers and builders. Yuma Solar will clean your solar panels with spot-free water, and hand-wipe and dry each panel individually at minimal cost. Cleaning is desirable if you live in a particularly dusty area, or if bird droppings are present.
Now you can offer attractive photovoltaic panels and battery options to your residential customers. REC panels offer a 25-year manufacturer's warranty, and Yuma Solar offers a 10-year warranty on workmanship. Yuma Solar offers dealer prices and will partner with you to provide a complete customer care package for grid-connected solar systems (with optional energy storage), including guidance with APS programs.
LiFePO4 batteries are the safest available, and are stable under the most challenging physical conditions. Eco Smart connects between the inverter and electrical service, storing excess energy from PV panels, or from the grid during off-peak times when power is cheaper. Eco Smart storage capacity is available in 4 kWh to 16 kWh configurations.
The most important thing to remember is that your savings will increase over time. This makes solar somewhat unique. Most investments start to depreciate rather quickly, but with solar, the opposite is true. Within the first eight years or so, you can completely pay off your solar panels, and the rest of the savings after that go right into your pocket.

Solar panels are a big expense, so I did my homework. Yuma Solar is a local, family owned business that has an A+ rating from BBB. They offer all of the services the others do including 0 down, Federal and State tax credits (if you don't qualify for the tax credits they'll work with you), long term low rate financing, even 5 year payback with 0 interest. The one thing Yuma Solar has, the others don't is Jennifer. She will generally be your first contact. Jennifer is knowledgeable on all aspects of the process. Very unreliable company. Go with Sun Power, they are way better than this junk "local" company. My panels weren't working for over a month, and my electricity bill skyrocketed. And they didn't help alleviate my loss. I spoke with Sun Power, and they said I would've never had this kind of issues, and they would've been on top of their customer...... BE AWARE of Yuma Solar. They are a scam!!! Go with Sun Power.
